For me, though, meeting the new community manager has been a really encouraging change. She’s already helped get a few maintenance issues taken care of that I’d been waiting on, and she’s been friendly, responsive, and great to work with. It genuinely feels like she’s bringing a fresh, welcoming energy to the community. Just wanted to share a positive update — I’m feeling really hopeful about where things are headed and excited to see West Point continue to grow into an even more comfortable place to call home.”

I have a feeling I’ll be well taken care of. Edit: 6 months into my lease, my girlfriend also moved into Riverpoint in a separate unit. Our property manager Desiree was very helpful throughout all the process while ensuring we were qualified to live there. We both love living at Riverpoint.”

“Very very quiet place to live!! I’ve lived here going on 2 years and have never seen the cops called out not one time for any drama. Office people are quick to help with anything you may need. HUGE shout out to the maintenance team. They all are amazing guys who are fun to interact with but are super fast at all repairs and clean up after themselves. Good guys! The grounds are well kept and always kept clean of trash. The apartments are very pretty inside and well insulated so the electric bill isn’t sky high while running the central air or heat during the winter. Electric fireplace is really nice in the winter too:-)”

The apartments are well-equipped and comfortable, making the transition smooth and stress-free. Management is very responsive and handles maintenance requests quickly, which I really appreciate. The environment is also very student-friendly and welcoming, helping me feel part of a supportive community. The location is perfect! Being right across from campus means everything I need, from classes to campus activities, is just a short walk away, making life so much more convenient without worrying about transportation. I’d highly recommend Drake West Village to anyone, especially those coming from outside Iowa or abroad. It’s the perfect place if you want a safe, supportive, and conveniently located home while studying at Drake!”

“I’m giving this apartment complex (while under ownership of Artisan) a five because I haven’t had any issues here. The landlord Bobbie has been amazing! She is super down to earth and makes sure that residence needs are met. In general she’s just amazing with the residence here. She also communicates great with our maintenance guy David. David not only make sure that needs our met, but he’s great at communicating with residence and is very thorough about his work. I’ve never had such a great landlord and such a great maintenance man!”

The property manager, Dan, is kind, responsive and always helpful. And maintenance was always crazy fast and went above and beyond every time. “Entering the room it's like your at home. Everything is neatly kept. The owner is on site anytime day or night. Never had any issues with the room nor other people staying. I've stays in the extended room twice and I'd do it again if needed. The owner is on call 24/7 and will address any problems or concerns promptly. I recommend the Windsor court hotel to everyone I know”

“20 years at a nearby complex but it’s showing its age so I visited West Glen. Their studios are larger than the new ones like The RESERVE at Jordan Creek, but they are holding fast to $1,000/ mo rent. The clunky DirectTV box on the wall gives 1990s. But new units at RESERVE are $950 with pool and your own fob to the clubhouse. I might have still considered West Glen except Cat was the most off putting leasing agent I’ve encountered. I definitely would not want to spend any more time dealing with her. If they could be welcoming to visitors they might fill their empties.”

Any questions or concerns I’ve had were handled promptly and with a great attitude, which makes the whole living experience so much smoother. The maintenance team here is also fantastic. They are consistently friendly, helpful, and efficient. It’s such a relief to know that if something needs attention in my apartment, it’s going to be taken care of quickly and done right the first time. Beyond the staff, the property itself is always well-maintained. The grounds are clean, the common areas are well-kept, and you can tell they take a lot of pride in keeping the community looking great. It’s a peaceful, well-managed place, and I’ve been very impressed with how they prioritize the resident experience. If you’re hunting for a new apartment, I definitely suggest giving Eastwood a look.
