The restaurant is in beautiful Leawood, and is itself beautiful spreading out over two floors with lovely floral themes to the decorations and extras everywhere (including flowers served on our entrees). The service is attentive and knowledgeable as you would expect from a high end restaurant. And the food? Well I ordered my cashew chicken dish hot and it was not nearly as hot as I would like though that is personal taste. My wife ordered Pad Thai and found it good but sweeter than expected.
But we ordered the spring rolls appetizer and it’s genuinely one of the best foods I’ve ever eaten. Yummy veggies inside very crisply fried wanton with a tangy sweet hot homemade sauce I gave serious consideration to simply lapping up from the bowl. Divine

Hidden away in a nice area Burg & Barrell is a hidden gem??
Outside - clean , also has an outside patio.
Inside - seating was prompt and friendly. Seats were comfortable and clean. Table was clean.
Menu was clean. Nice selection. My cheese burger and hand cut fries came out PERFECT and tasted as good as it looked.
Service was wonderful.
Floor, windows and doors were clean.
It was actually enjoyable to set in a restaurant that gave me a clean feeling vs the normal why don’t you clean your table chair and which most places are. It takes a serious commitment to clean.
Kudos to the Management and staff.
For perspective as a former restaurant supervisor whose facility rated it the companies top 5 percent in the world for Quality Service and Cleanliness I am tough on what I expect.
