Banfield Pet Hospital
5810 Antioch Rd, MerriamI like the place and the people I thought it was nice. but I think they’re overpriced. If you have a dog that’s like 13 to 15 years old, they force you to make decisions because of their age.

Woof's Play & Stay - Merriam
6465 E Frontage Rd, MerriamMy dog Sophie loves Woof’s. She may be moping & sad, and if I ask if she wants to go to Woof’s she perks up. The workers there have been so accommodating, we have only good to say.

IKEA Restaurant
6000 Ikea Way, MerriamCafeteria style restaurants are fairly rare these days. They remind me of going to the Forum Cafeteria at the old Antioch Mall with my grandparents in the 1970's. Today the closest thing to re-experience these memories are hospitals and Ikea. My mid-afternoon and mid-shopping experience last Sunday was the most economical meal that I've had in a long time. For less than $5 I had a large bowl of very cheesy mac and cheese and a slice of perfectly toasted garlic bread. High cuisine it was not but it was the perfect antidote to give me some tasty and cheap carbs to finish the long shopping trek through the Swedish retailer's giant floorplan. A must stop for a meal, snack, dessert or beverage when shopping.

Great Plains SPCA Pet Adoption Center
5424 Antioch Dr, MerriamWe adopted our elder cat from Great Plains yesterday. What a wonderful organization! They care so much about their animals and take excellent care of them. Their adoption process is rigorous to ensure all adoptors are prepared emotionally and financially to care for a new pet and understand their medical and social needs. The staff is welcoming and very knowledgeable. Many volunteers help the staff care for the animals and give them much needed attention and stimulation. Their store has food and other pet care items available to purchase. It's a wonderful place to find your new family member!
