The staff know him by name when he walks in. They def do a great job keeping the dogs busy because Bennie is always tired when he gets home from a fun day at Dogtopia. They are also the only ones I trust for boarding because I know they will give him great care while we are gone.

100 South Parker Street, OlatheThis is to express enduring appreciation to our vet, Dr. Hadley Warwick, for his informed, common sense, loving care of our corgi Daisy. Under his watch, she stayed healthy and perky, but her final battle with IVDD could not be countered, so we relied on him to send her home.
The room was set up with subdued lighting and a plush covering on the table provided for comfort. Slowly, and over a period of almost an hour, he entered and left the room, patiently administering the medications to allow her to gently drift away in peace.
Although the loss was heartbreaking, it was the most peaceful euthanasia of a pet I have experienced. Afterward, he assisted as I carried her to the car and gave me a hug.
From the attention Dr. Warwick gave our pet—in life and in death—it is obvious he loves his work and his clients. We are grateful.
God bless him and his wonderful staff for helping us through this deep loss and for the personal care, attention and dignity they continue to offer to the families and furry friends of our community.

We’ve been with Murlen Vet for years and the staff are amazing. We had to have a dying pup put down and although it was traumatic for me, they couldn’t have been more supportive and helpful. Def recommend to those looking for a well established and professional Veterinary Service.

816 North Ridgeview Road, OlatheWe take our cats here through out the year for various things. They get their vaccinations, wellness checks and other things. One of my cats got stung by a bee that got in the house and had to go and got sorted out. The best thing is my cat had feline herpies when we got her from the cat shelter and this vet hospital helped us and she’s completely clear now, she’ll never be “healed” of it but atleast I know what to do when she has a spike of it. Just went yesterday for their rabies shots and even tho Artemis scratched the male nurse they were still so kind to her even when she was being a jerk. We also got one of my cats chipped here as well in the past.

All other vets were closed or wouldn’t do urgent care, but Cedar Creek was not only open but got us in a hour later and was extremely good value. Everyone is incredibly kind and when I got there we were seen immediately with no wait. Highly highly recommend this vet especially for urgent care

I love the separate entrance for cats, it definitely made my cat less anxious. The staff was all very friendly and the Veterinarian was really personable and did not pressure expensive treatments. I like the price transparency here and felt that the prices were fair. They also called within 24 hours to check in on my cat which was very kind of them. Highly recommend and will be returning!

Fetchers Play & Stay
585 North Central Street, OlatheI wish we could give more than five stars. We tried different boarding/daycares before Fetcher’s and Milo seemed happy. Once we brought him to Fetcher’s, it was like night and day. As soon as we open the car door, he runs to the door and wants in. He runs down the hall without looking back. He loves the staff and the other puppies so much. My favorite thing are the cameras that we can watch at any time. We get to see him playing and interacting with the staff and all of his friends. You can tell that the staff truly love what they do. They make us and Milo feel special and loved. Plus, the pricing is amazing and very affordable which is a huge bonus. Thank you Fetcher’s, we love you guys! Pictures of our sweet Milo at “school”, passed out in the car after a fun day and Milo just being his sweet self!

The place is surprisingly spacious, with multiple seating areas and an interesting mix of vintage-style furniture, wooden interiors, comfortable couches, and armchairs. Every corner has its own character, giving it a charming, old-fashioned feel. I also loved the colorful local artwork and creative decorations displayed throughout. It’s definitely different from your typical modern coffee shop, and that’s what makes it special!
We ordered a raspberry vanilla latte and a few muffins, and everything was pretty good! Overall, it’s a great place to relax, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy a cup of coffee. The spacious layout and unique atmosphere make it worth visiting. We’d definitely consider stopping by again!

Red Crow Brewing Company
1062 West Santa Fe Street, OlatheWe stopped by Red Crow Brewing Company for lunch on Saturday while spending the weekend in Kansas City, and what a great find! As luck would have it, we happened to visit during their 11th birthday celebration, which made an already fun atmosphere even better!
We were there with another couple, and all four of us really enjoyed the experience. The place has a great laid-back vibe, plenty of personality, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to hang around awhile.
Now, let's talk about the food! Absolutely worth the visit on its own. The burgers were fantastic, the pretzels were a big hit, and the chicken strip sandwich was another winner. Seriously, don't overlook the food just because it's a brewery. These folks know their way around a kitchen!
It's always fun to discover a local place that gets the combination of good food, good drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere just right. Red Crow definitely delivered!
Happy 11th birthday, Red Crow! Here's to many more years of great food, cold drinks, and happy customers. We came to Kansas City for the Chiefs, but Red Crow earned a spot on our winning roster, too!
We'll definitely be back, and next time we might even save room for dessert!
