“I came in planning to buy a specific ball, but after talking with the guy working there, I went with his recommendation instead and I’m glad I did. He set me up with a Venom Lethal and I couldn’t be happier with it.
They drilled it on site while I waited, took about 15 minutes, custom measured my hand, installed the grips, and everything fit perfectly. They also offer free cleaning and grips for life, which is awesome.
Great people, great service, and a huge selection. If you cannot find what you are looking for here, you are probably in the wrong sport.”

“I visited The Running Well Store earlier this week and couldn't be happier with my experience. I came in looking for new shoes as I work 12 hours shifts in healthcare. The worker that helped me was very knowledgeable and discussed every step with me while giving me multiple options. Chose a pair of Asics and arch support inserts based on his recommendation and they have felt amazing for all 12 hour shifts I've worked this week. Thank you!”

“I had a driver fitting with Montana recently and he was awesome! This is a true fitting unlike some of the big brand places- I swung several shots with multiple different clubheads, shafts, and weights. They don't work off commission here, so they aren't going to try and upsell you if it's not needed. We started with standard shafts, got close, and then went into the pricier options. He said that the numbers need to prove that the more expensive shafts greatly outweigh the performance of the stock shafts, or else we'd stick to the basics. I really appreciated the honesty and will definitely be going here from now on for all my golfing "needs"!One note that should be obvious but I'll mention anyway- be honest with the fitter during your fitting. Talking yourself up and leaving out your weaknesses isn't going to benefit you. If they are aware of your issues, they can fine tune everything and make sure they don't overcorrect if you're just in a slump. For example, I have had a hook this year that isn't particularly normal. I mentioned this and we made sure that once I get it corrected the club will still work to my strengths. I highly recommend!!”

“We frequent Scheels often but today was special. Our son is grown, however; we've noticed a serious decline in toy stores. Going to the toy store always left fond memories and Scheels has put a galient effort into bringing that back! Check out the second floor for all the Lego sets and Hot Wheels a child could ask for as well as other things, like games, etc. Great job Scheels for providing a wholesome family store and experience.”
“Found them on a google search when I was looking to get my son get a new board. The owner is a really nice guy and built his board so he didn't have to wait till he got home to ride. Skate shop is located inside of an indoor skate park. Shop has mostly boards but they also carry some tees, hoodies, socks & shoes. They offer a (summer 2023) skate camp & Saturday skate classes. Lots of kids and a few adults skating the day I went in. Nice place, nice owner-Support Local KC Businesses!”
“I can’t remember her name, but the cashier who helped me was amazing. She was wearing purple glasses and was super friendly and helpful. She took the time to help me double-check sizes for my kids’ gifts and made the whole process easy and stress-free. “As someone completely new to archery, walking into Bass Pro Shops in Olathe could have been pretty overwhelming—but thanks to Ian and Gary, it turned into an amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, they were incredibly welcoming, patient, and genuinely excited to help.
I had a lot of questions and very little knowledge, but Ian and Gary took the time to walk me through everything step by step. Right off the bat, they noticed that I had actually purchased the wrong bow and quickly remedied the situation, explaining that I needed a right-handed bow rather than a left-handed one. They took the time to make sure I understood the differences and helped get me set up with the correct equipment.
Their expertise was obvious, but what really stood out was how approachable and helpful they were throughout the entire process. Because of their guidance, I left feeling confident about my purchase and excited to get started with archery. Customer service like that is hard to find these days.

“First time visiting this particular location. They do a great job at organizing the vast amount of merchandise in a store with a smaller footprint than other spots (particularly up North where we're blessed with bigger stores.) Lots of Chiefs items, which is especially nice since many of the hotels are close to this spot, so out of towners can pop in quickly. I personally loved the Travis Kelce/Taylor Swift items as they captured the buzz in our city at the time of this posting.”
