The Home Depot in Wichita is a destination for home improvement projects, offering tools, appliances, outdoor furniture, building materials, and gardening supplies. The store provides a wide variety for DIY enthusiasts and professionals tackling renovations, repairs, or garden updates. Many customers appreciate the knowledgeable team, describing staff as mostly friendly and ready to provide expert advice and support. The online app and pickup service are noted as fabulous for getting orders in and out pronto. However, the store can be challenging to navigate. Some reviews note that too much stuff is stacked in the aisles and the place is not as clean as in years past. It can be hard to find a lot of things, and sometimes items are out of stock. The process to access the protected tool area can be weird, requiring waiting for the only person with a key, who may have a less than chipper attitude. At self-checkout, some find it annoying to be bombarded with unsolicited help. Despite these inconsistencies, the store earns strong loyalty. Customers report feeling a personal connection with exceptionally helpful employees. The sales team and management have been commended for their professional conduct and soulfulness, especially during extreme inclement weather, going above and beyond to meet customer needs with heartfelt empathy and help the community.
To much stuff stacked in the isles, canf believe the fire inspection team allows this, and the place isn't as clean as years past.

I will always go to this Home Depot. David is the absolute best. After David helping me once he remembered who I was and greets me by my name every time I'm in the store. I feel a personal connection with David. That's the kind of employee that deserves a raise.
