“Prices are higher than home depot and other large chain home improvement warehouses, but the people are super nice, knowledgeable and helpful. I enjoyed the couple times I've been here.”

“We love supporting this local business. The employees are extremely kind & helpful! I needed a couple things to work on the yard and called beforehand to make sure they had everything I needed in-store. They put everything behind the counter for me before I arrived, without even asking, and then offered to walk it out to my car for me once purchased. Highly recommend!!”

“We bought new toe stripping for our kitchen cabinets. We don’t own a table or circular saw and didn’t want to purchase one for such a small job. Lowe’s, Home Depot and Hyde Park Lumber all refused to make the six needed cuts as it hadn’t been purchased there. WHAT! Silverton Hardware did the job quickly and for an amazing price. Always check this little neighborhood gem first!”

“My experience with Oakley Paint & Glass has been literally amazing. I went there to pick up Romabio masonry paint in Silver Lining. It was apparent however, that Romabio CHANGED the color of Silver Lining and the color was moved from light gray to more of a Taupe Ish-Gray.... . The paint technician Dan showed me an OLD sample of Silver Lining, and he had to Customize the base flat mineral paint to match what i wanted. Dan's experience and expertise was the ONLY Reason, I was able to get the paint to the desired color...... Dan is amazing and is like a Paint Scientist... . without Dan, my house would not look as good as it does now.”

“There have been times when I've gone into a hardware store for something in particular, and when I asked for assistance, the person working there would be condescending and patronizing. Well that did *not* happen here. When I asked for help I was immediately taken to the aisle and given info on what I was looking for. The sales associate didn't hover but was nearby to answer questions. I also walked around the store to price other things for my upcoming projects and the prices are very reasonable. I'll definitely go back when I start (and finally finish) other projects.”

“These guys know tools like I know my wife (way more than i'd ever admit to any of my buddies because i want them to think that im the same as them, but im actually a very good listener and i know that listening and participation in our marriage will be one of the most crucial, key characteristics for a very prosperous future with good fortunes and the overwhelming, continuous exchange of shared blessings between our families, our friends families, and those who happen to cross-paths with us, even for just a short time).”

“Great experience. Superior service. Our beloved giant of a bur oak tree was infested with aphids. Jeff gave our family an honest consult in both timing of service for greatest effectiveness, number of necessary treatments, a realistic timeline, and to-the-dime price estimate. Jeff is honest, friendly, and straight forward. Ownership treats a customer like a neighbor. I highly recommend them. Small company with big heart and a big punch. They are good people. Give them a call. Absolutely no regrets.”

“This is the best hardware store I have ever been to. Maybe the best store period I've ever been to. The selection is good - they don't have the amount of stuff as the big box but everything you need for your house is here. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I give it 6 stars if I could.”

“It’s hard to find good people and not just that by also someone that’s very polite and easy to work with and Ideal Supplies is exactly that. Today was the first day I ever gotten anything from them and from the time I called them to when they dropped the gravel at my property went smooth. A lady I talked to over the phone was super nice and I believe a guy name Bradley that dropped off the gravels was even nicer. Offered to help to set Tarp and very helpful in general. I would highly recommend them. Price was very reasonable as well.”

“About 2 months ago I went in needed screws for a table that had no directions. I did not even know what screw size I would need. I brought in pictures, and Sean and Gary were able to tell me what size screws each part of my table would need! I never would have assembled it if it wasnt for them. Their knowledge helped make my experience so easy!!!”

“Customer service was great they go by appointments only so don't get here early due to very limited parking. The parking lot can get tight with all the cars but if you know what you're doing it's not a problem. Unloading time took an hour and It's one way in an out if you have a 7:15 am appointment you can park here overnight in dock 3 or 4 if it's available.”

“Was so glad that I drove from Lexington, KY to Florence to work with Jennifer Griggs!! Excellent service, she made time to work with me even though I didn't have an appointment. We remodeled 3 Full Bathrooms and she was wonderful every step of the way! Even had to return a soaker tub I wasn't happy with the size. She quickly helped me find a replacement - Ended up with the Naomi by Barclay! It is FABULOUS!!! Holds heat for over 30 minutes and is wonderful!!!! If you are looking for a soaker tub I would consider looking at this one!! I am very picky about my soaker tub!!!! Will work with Jennifer again on our next project.”
