“This is a good place to buy your food, if your looking for large quantities! It's cheaper to buy ! It's great for buying for a family get together! The employees are very nice n help you find the item your looking for!”
“Great store. But I'm afraid we're going to have to have a GoFundMe of you want a cart that isn't so annoying that you cut your shopping short and go somewhere else.. Yes. It's that bad.”
“Beautiful little store with a HUGE selection. Lots of choices of international food items and ingredients. The owner was so friendly! He gave me some delicious bread to try. They have wonderful fresh baklava. He also has the hookup on the famous Dubai chocolate bar ingredients. I will definitely be going back!”
“Great visit to Asian Market in Capital Commons. Lots of great frozen food choices, imported goodies, spices, you name it. Now has a restaurant inside of it as well. Great location.”
“I’ve recently started grocery shopping here as my main store and I love it. Store is always clean, and even when it’s packed. I also have never had to wait in line long at all during checkout. The staff here has always made me feel welcome and they are really nice when I ask them questions. I’m glad this is my new store!”
“I like it, out of all the factories I've worked at this is by far the best. We're off on the weekends and the hours are perfect for me plus I like the people I work with”
“Love this store, it's convenient for me, but the prices are so high, plus, they need to store their milk in closed refrigerators as it goes bad quickly...much quicker than other stores...and with prices being so high, I try not to purchase their milk due to that reason....”
“Great location!! Very nice and helpful staff!!! Truck days are rough on everyone but they still have great attitudes under stress and still very helpful!!! We are very grateful and happy you came to our neighborhood!!!!!!”
“Wow! Krogers gas station off the Bypass got it going on! They built an entire new station on the SIDE OF THE STORE! ? New everything. Even the attendant is new...well, I have never seen her before. Lol.
5 Stars Krogers, for an excellent move....getting that station out of the parking lot! ?”
“It's a fine grocery store if a bit dreary inside. I stopped to look around when I was in Bowling Green once looking at houses to buy. I ended up choosing a different city but remember going here and to a thrift store just down the road from here.”
“Popped in here to see what it was about. When we came in we were greeted by a very friendly woman who explained in good detail about each Oil and Balsamic Vinaigrette. They had some fantastic deals to include but not limited to 6 small bottles for $33.My favorite part is we were able to try each Oil and Balsamic Vinaigrette! I have never been somewhere where you are able to do that. Once we finish the bottles we have now we will absolutely return.Photo attached is the Store Hours.”
“Such a great store and the employees there are very nice, they helped me find the things I needed and even offered to help carry some of my bags I had to my car! Such great people!”
“Great Asian grocery store in the old Hopscotch's Playplace kiddie gym. Still has the loving mascot on the wall. Place has lots of choices for all your Asian cuisine needs with a lot of good snacks as well.”
“I visited this store last week and asked if I could have some fresh pico de gallo made. The guy advised doesn't have any available right now but will have his wife make some. The next day I returned and she'd made me an entire platter of pico. It was fresh, not full of tomatoes, like Kroger or Walmart, and bursting with flavor in every bite. I've already ordered more for this week's Taco Tuesday! 🌮 Thanks to the entire friendly staff there.”

“This is PERFECT for Asian foods and the owner is very nice. It's a BRILLIANT place with GREAT not even great, The atmosphere is EXCELLENT and the owners are very docile and super cooperative. The prices are MAGIFICENT, this place was so PERFECT. DOWN. TO. THE. LAST. DETAIL. I can not lie. It brought me to my knees. Tears were diving down my face. I bawled so hard it felt like there was no more water in my whole body. No. There WAS no more water in my body, I had to drink 3 bottles of water to continue bawling. This shop was life changing. It was building my love for humanity. May God bless these people and the shop. Overall, this place is the most perfect place on Earth, God bless them.”
“I got eggs, Gal Milk, and to Cheeseburgers with fries. My 10 yr old Grandson and I enjoys our lunchtime together out so to speak. We were tired of our food for lunch. Sometimes you just have to mix it up, especially through this Covid Pandemic. Thank you ladies for carrying it out to my truck too for me. God Bless you all. We will be back. ❤❤❤❤❤”
“? Though it's a relatively small "farmers market," SoKY Marketplace deserves 5 stars because it's a fun, relaxing way to kick off your Saturday while supporting local farmers and small BG biz. In addition to produce and fresh herbs, expect to find a couple food trucks, local honey, some authentic Latino snacks ("homemade" ceviche, fried plantains, etc.), fresh baked goods, potted plants and some crafts. Bonus points for the super friendly vendors and ample parking including handicapped.”
“Wow!!!! Pop Shelf is not your average Dollar General. I would give it 10 stars. I spent a bit over 100 bucks, a lot of money for a cheaper like me. I got 6 Martha Stewart Collection bowls, 6 Bombay company baskets, 9 vases of various colors. 3 apothecary jars with lids,, a really cool canister, a glass measuring cup with lid and a bunch of other decor items. It’s like a Dollar store on steroids! ❤️”
“Small grocery store with Variety of international chocolate and candy options!
Baklava($5.99) and kunafa($5.99) tastes delicious.
A few items are expensive!
Somewhat difficult to find parking.”
“I like that we have a DG close to home. Sometimes I can score pretty good deals on things. There are certain groceries that are expensive but a lot are reasonable. The aisles are narrow and packed pretty full but there's stuff waiting to be put on shelves just out... the employees are hit n miss with their level of niceness.”
“No matter which Dollar General I stop at I always get excellent service. Do have a problem with the main corporation who keeps taking stuff out of there stores. Loved all the white coated wire racks. They had a wonderful selection and discontinued them all”

“Stopped here for the first time back in August when my mother in law and I were seeking a restroom on our way back home from our trip. Walking in we noticed how clean and well stocked the shelves were. We walked around and absolutely loved the place. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Restrooms are small but clean! We also got gas and a huge cup of strawberries that were super fresh. We're definitely adding this place to stop at on our trips! Hopefully it's the same this year ;)”
“So nice to have these folks just down the road, the staff is always friendly, love the pizza! And it’s awesome to have a gas station on this side of town that consistently has the best prices at the pump!”
“Great place to grab and go Hispanic cuisine basics at a fair price with a marked emphasis on pantry goods. Particularly liked the dried chilies selection. Bonus points for the fresh breads that were put on display during my pre-lunch visit.”

“It has the typical African store goods: freezer of fish and meats; large bags of items like rice, beans, corn mill; canned goods and more freezers in the back; and skin lighting cremes galore. Smh. Walked inside, and no one was in the main area or in back so I left. Place was clean.”
“Store #781 is the best of all the IGA’s in town! The morning ladies are all so sweet and so helpful! They speak to everyone like they have known them all their lives! Another good thing is it is always super clean! If you look at the drink area where you get your lids, so clean! I’ve looked at the other stores and they are so dirty I hate to even get a drink! So store #781, YOU ALL ROCK!!”
“Tiny store but packed with so many options. The staff are prompt and very kind. They make you feel welcome on every visit. I go there at least once every week if not more.”
“I just love this place. Local tip, if you want the bread you better get there before 9:30-10:00 through the week and by 8:30-9:00 on Saturdays. They open at 8:00 am and the earlier you get there the better chance of grabbing some delicious pita and loaf breads.
They sell out quick for a reason. When you see the place packed out the door with our local middle eastern neighbors and the parking is overflowing down the street, you can guarantee it’s an authentic place.
I also love this roasted red pepper vegetable spread. It’s amazing for a chicken marinade or eat out of the jar on cottage cheese.”
“Love it!!! The only thing I can't stand is cashier switching carts that you came in with at the register, so you get the persons cart ahead of you. Extremely virus friendly, super weird and not cool.”
