3414 Dixie Highway, ErlangerFirst wellness visit to Erlanger Veterinary Hospital with 2 of our 3 dogs. We decided to switch from our previous vet because it was tough getting a same day appointment(solo practitioner) when one of the 3 needed a sick visit. We saw Dr Porter at Erlanger VC and were so happy with her attention to detail. She listened to my concerns about my 2 senior pups. The 2 vet techs were great, Kya and Brian, and were kind and attentive. Since our appointment last week, I have spoken 2 times on the phone with Dr Porter in follow up to new meds and abnormal lab results and have another appointment scheduled this week for further testing. We will definitely go back to EVC. Our 3rd one is due in March for her wellness visit and will also be seen there.

Huesing Barry Dr
3810 Dixie Highway, ErlangerWe've been taking our animals to Dr. Huesing since 1990. We've moved several times since then and keep getting further away from his office. We live in Crittenden now, but I still make the trip to see Dr. Huesing. The office has always gotten us in quickly and the prices are very reasonable. He won me over when my kids were toddlers and we got a puppy from the pound. Two days after we got him home he started getting sick and was diagnosed with Parvo. We couldn't afford a huge vet bill and, long story short, Dr. Huesing kept the puppy at his office for 2 nights and gave the puppy medicine. He only charged me $30 for the medicine when the time came to put him out of his misery. He can be a little gruff at times, but it's only when he thinks you are doing something that is not in the best interest of your pet. He will tell you what he thinks, which I appreciate. I've tried other vets closer to home at times through the years, but I never cared for any of them as much as Dr. Huesing. His years of experience have made him very knowledgeable and I'm sure he's seen it all. His staff has been with him just about as long and they are wonderful as well.

3414 Dixie Highway, ErlangerI absolutely love Dr. Vechionne. She is very thorough and tbe only vet who correctly diagnosed my cat. I always make sure I see her, and she takes very good care of him. I highly recommend her especially for people who have cats.

2844 Crescent Springs Pike Unit B, ErlangerI trained with my first therapy dog, Toby back in 2019. After losing my first therapy dog in 2024, I wanted to train another dog to do therapy work. In 2025 we welcomed Echo and started training with her. Jim and the four paws team have been amazing with us as this is the first time I’ve ever trained with a puppy! These trainers absolutely love dogs and become like second family for both owner and dog. Echo loves training with all of the trainers but loves her Aunt Lori the most. I will always recommend Jim and the team at Four Paws!

2844 Crescent Springs Pike, ErlangerLOVE Allie’s! My girl gets SO excited when she walks through the door. Absolute wiggle butt. She can be very shy around people, but I don’t think there’s a single person there that she won’t (happily) jump on. The workers love her too, and it makes me so happy to hear about her “boyfriends” and gal pals she makes there. Plus, as a nurse, it’s very nice to come home with her after a long shift and have a sleepy snuggly dog. I’d recommend Allie’s to anyone!!

621 Stevenson Road, ErlangerVery unassuming from the outside but you’re in for a treat and some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. We are hooked. The street tacos are exceptional, particularly the el pastor and the pork belly! I got a “small” beer and it was absolutely ginormous. I’m scared to see what a “large” beer is. 😆 Don’t sleep on this place!

Greek To Me
3415 Dixie Highway, ErlangerI got my lunch delivered, but I have eaten in before. The food here is almost exclusively gyros, although with options like a cincinnati chili gyro and southwest BBQ gyro, it's hard to call it authentic Greek. The flavor of my meat was very good and the BBQ sauce was good. However, it was a little dry, which I didn't remember being a problem when I ate in, so I would recommend that over delivery. Also, there a tiny number onions on a sandwich that only consisted of cheese, meat onions and bread.
