I am so happy with the cut they gave to my 18lb terrier mix, it's exactly what I asked for. I requested a fragrance free service, which I received, and her nails and feet were trimmed so perfectly. This was my first experience with Dippity Do Dog salon and I'm very happy. Great price. I'll definitely be back!! Thank you!

846 York Street, NewportWe went there for dinner last night. My wife had the ribs and I ordered the fried chicken. I can safely say that it was some of the best chicken I’ve ever had. Those who know me know I am a fried chicken connoisseur. And this rang the bell loudly.
The seasoning on the crust which had a delicious and perfectly balanced,salty aftertaste was excellent. The crust was crispy, and the chicken was moist and truly remarkable.
I also enjoyed the potatoes and the collard greens are unlike anything I’ve ever had. Perfection.
Secondary but not lesser my wife’s ribs were absolutely amazing. Fall off the bone. Sauce and incredible execution. Dylan was our server and he was great. Very attentive and the service was just top-notch. The cocktail of the evening was also really good. It was a bourbon based cocktail.
Safe to say, we will be back, maybe not soon enough.

The staff are super friendly!! Pup cups for the doggos. I've tried pretty much every coffee they offer.
Note trailhead coffee is within a bike store so limited seating but amazing for a takeout coffee!

201 3rd Street, NewportWe stayed at the Aloft Hotel and popped down for a drink (or few). The bartender was super friendly and was the reason we stayed for more than one drink. She gave us suggestions of places to go to in the area and she knew how to make a great old fashioned. The lounge area has such a comfortable and cool vibe to it, with a pool table nearby. Our stay at the Aloft was definitely enhanced by having such a nice, convenient bar just an elevator ride away.
