I am so happy with the cut they gave to my 18lb terrier mix, it's exactly what I asked for. I requested a fragrance free service, which I received, and her nails and feet were trimmed so perfectly. This was my first experience with Dippity Do Dog salon and I'm very happy. Great price. I'll definitely be back!! Thank you!

Strong's Brick Oven Pizzeria
708 Monmouth St, NewportWas treated to a lunch there. This is apparently a new location and it seems to have everything you could want. Eat in area, plus a covered patio, AND one out under the sun (or stars too, I guess.)
Had a calzone, but was REALLY tempted top try some of their specialty pizzas. I'll be sure to do so the next time I go, and I'm pretty sure there will be a next time.
Wait staff was brilliant! Very kind, kept our drinks full, got our food to us quickly and made sure we had everything we needed.
The entire staff was super friendly! Everyone, including what I assume were the owners, came by and thanked us for coming. Even random staff members form the kitchen and others were friendly and seemed grateful for our visit as they thanked us as we left the place.
Prices weren't too bad. About what you might expect these days.
I don't have any allergies, but have friends and family who do, so I was happy to see they had some gluten free option available for an additional fee, but no dairy/egg free sadly.

Trailhead Coffee
648 Monmouth St, NewportOutstanding hidden coffee gem you must try if you're passing through Newport. Really glad I visited this place instead of defaulting to neighborhood favorites like Carabello and Collective Espresso. As great as those places are, Trailhead is just as enjoyable. I got the golden latte with oat milk, and it is fire. Literally. They put just enough cayenne in this puppy to make it dangerous. The espresso and the heat do this sort of fusion dance in your mouth to wake you up for real ?. The barista was ultra friendly too. Do not sleep on this place if you're in Newport!

Excellent espresso and tea bar and truly creative (but not to weird) breakfast menu. Delicious biscuits and gravy-- arugula was the perfect twist-- (I recommend adding yhe fried chicken). My daughter loved her cinnamon roll waffle. Well done Press!

Bourbon House Pizza
100 Aqua Wy, NewportI am staying at the Aloft next door. This restaurant was recommended by the staff. It was literally a 30-second walk from the lobby entrance; so max for convenience. I got a small build your own with their house ranch. Awesome! I ate the entire pizza. I highly recommend it!

Amol India Carry Out Restaurant

I've ordered delivery from here though, more than a few times. Their food is always piping hot, and super delicious, the chicken and veggies always cooked the the perfect consistency and texture. The serving sizes are great.
I have tried a few other local Indian restaurants but Amol always hits in the best ways.
