11551 Deerfield Road, CincinnatiWe did the one month board and train for our dog. Their results were great; no doubt are Gary and his team pros at what they do. I also appreciated their gentle and positive reinforcement philosophy. It’s clear they take great pride and care in what they do and they also love the animals they are entrusted with.
The only reason I knocked off a star was because of their communication. Even though our dog was there SIX weeks we would get maybe one update a week. And I would always have to initiate the request for an update; they did not proactively tell me how our dog was doing. Not only that, I would often have to contact them numerous times just to get a reply. We hardly received any photos or videos (and again, I pretty much had to beg for these). As a dog parent leaving their dog somewhere new for so long this was often distressing to our kids, especially the first few weeks.
Even after the board and train is done, I am struggling to get responses from them in regards to follow up grooming or boarding. Perhaps they are too busy and if that’s the case I hope they staff up as they do great work in general.

I was surprised at how reasonable a full eye check up for my pup ended up being, only $140. Most impressive though, was that my little guy DID NOT start trembling upon walking in the door like he does at the regular vet. I think that speaks volumes regarding the care and patience given here! I will be checking my pup's eyes more often from now on.

Warm Animal Hospital
8120 East Kemper Road, CincinnatiI don't know if I will ever go to another vet! When I found my cat outside a few years back, they immediately got me in for an appointment. They were super knowledgeable about the odd breed he was. It was later found out that he has super severe allergies and they worked with me the entire time when it came to allergy testing, teaching me how to administer shots at home, and ordering special medication.
Since then they have always welcomed him for appointments (even though he can be aggressive towards staff sometimes due to stress). They also worked with me when he needed a tooth extracted and was able to squeeze me in during pet dental health month so I was able to get a discount.
I have never felt like they were trying to uncharge me or scam me. They are always to kind to me and my pets, and make sure I understand everything that's going on.

She really enjoys being there! Lucky is our energetic and wild golden and he has the time of his life there. Madison is his favorite human there and she just adores him which makes us feel so lucky! He gets so excited every time he goes in, which is like 4 times a week, and he can’t wait to play with Madison and her golden Odin! I can’t recommend this place enough as a home away from home for your dogs!

What I really like is Neko puts a thin layer of rice around the fish instead of a thick layer that I’ve experienced at other locations. This allows for the ability to savor the taste of the intended roll. And they both had fantastic flavor!
I asked them to add something to one roll, and they did that as well. Customer service was the best. Will come back next time I’m in town.

Save the Animals Foundation
4011 Red Bank Road, CincinnatiWe adopted Niblet from STAF this week and we had a great experience. This is the second cat we have taken home from the shelter. The volunteers at STAF take great care to introduce you to pets that meet work for you! There are a ton of pets available for adoption and STAF does their best to set you up for success at home. They sent us home with food, litter, a bush, carrier, and scratching box.

3949 Colerain Avenue, CincinnatiI went in with my father who always hated pets. But we found a dog that transcends the word pet. She was so quiet and scared, she didnt get the ball when I threw it. She only laid at the base of my bed. I cant belive shes the same girl who now pushes me into the corner of my mattress and will bring the ball then demand it be thrown. She sits in lawn chairs by the fire with me. She eats her dinner at the same time as me. She lays across my chest when I have nightmares.
We stopped by after going to the junk yard but as soon as we saw her, we knew she was gonna have a home.
These people cared for her and loved her and I will always be thankfull cus if they didnt exist I wouldn't have the only friend I need. I can not be more thankfull for the lil pup pup that is currently licking the wall. Shes both so dumb and so smart and I will love her till I die
