“If you want local, organic, and allergy friendly food SHOP HERE!!! This was our first time here and they have everything you could want or need for eating healthy. The Cafe is also healthy and has all kinds of choices, even vegan mayo and dressings and gluten free bread. We got Reubens at the cafe on GF bread, with vegan cheese and the thousand island dressing is vegan as well. We will DEFINITELY be back!!! Check it out, you won't regret it!”

“I have never had a bad experience at this TJ. This trip was to restock my out-of-state parents and sister on some items that they love. There were 2 items they had requested that I was unable to find. An extremely polite and helpful Scottish gentleman did all he could to try to track down the 2 products, even though he had been busily stocking shelves when I interrupted him. I wish I had gotten his name, but hopefully my description will help anyone reading this to give him a raise or at least a pat on the back. He had a good sense of humor, too. ?”

“I love the farmers market! I passed tables that have beautiful flowers for sale at reasonable prices , baked goods , condiments (which truth be told are my favorites!). Bakes goods cheese meats and fresh beautiful vegetables. Wine was also available to buy . However I was on my way to work and didn't end up buying anything but definitely next time . I really enjoy the atmosphere of the market there's just something about it . Plus I'm all for supporting small businesses. So it's a win win for me !”

“Hidden gem. The staff was SO friendly and checked to make sure I had the best dates on the items I chose. They were super receptive to questions. This is bread you'll need to freeze if not eating it immediately. Or make some french toast! They get new bread every day. Bread ranges from roughly $1.39-3.29. They have Texas toast and sourdough in the back. They have big bags of bread for animals for $1.”

“It's a small store, as one might expect in Lexington. They have a good variety of Indian/Nepali food, including some pretty rad chili peppers and a variety of nuts and beans. A few fresh vegetables were on offer as well, including some you wouldn't see in a big box grocery store. The people working there were very chatty and interested to see what I'd do with my hot peppers. I'll find something good.”

“This little hole in the wall joint, is the place to be! They had a guy outside who told us about it and we decided to give it a try. Fresh made to order food, very fair pricing I had a hotdogs with chili, & cheese & some Mac n cheese, my husband had the catfish sandwich. Very friendly staff, and great food I will definitely come back and try something else from their large menu! Skip the chain restaurants and give them a try!!!”

Cashier was on their phone when I approached to check out and was mildly annoyed for disturbing them. This man was 50+. “My go-to Asian market in town. They specialize in Korean ingredients but also have tons of Japanese ingredients and few other things. I mostly go for their banchan, which they have a large selection of. I also go for the mushrooms, specifically maitake (hen of the woods). They always have pre-prepared meals and onigiri too. I go literally every week for the essentials.”
