It's always bustling with people and dogs sitting on the covered outdoor seating area. So cool you can buy books here. My go to spot! Their smoothies and salad are great. Highly recommend!

Wooden Cask Brewing Company
629 York St, NewportIt was my first time here. If I lived closer, I'd come here often. They have lots of barrel-aged selections, which should be obvious given the name of the brewery. I liked everything I had.
They have food, and we tried the smoked wings, which were tender and flavorful.
Definitely worth a visit or 10.

736 Washington Ave, NewportUnsure why I had never rated O'Bryon's Bar and Grill before. It is absolutely amazing. When looking for a place to get married in 2023, we stopped here and ate. We loved the vibes, the people, the bar and the food so much we asked if we could get married in their upstairs. They said yes! And then we said yes! We have gone back every year at least once around our anniversary and have not been disappointed. It's truly an amazing place and I highly recommend it. Love O'bryons!

Crazy Fox Saloon

They don’t serve food or make mixed drinks, but you can bring your own food or get delivery, which is convenient. Bartender was alright — not overly friendly, but did the job. Overall, it’s a solid neighborhood bar if you're in the mood to kick back, have a basic drink, and shoot some pool.

421 Monmouth St, NewportThis is our brunch spot. The wife and I eat here about once a month. Delicious waffles, blueberry sauce is killer. I enjoy the biscuits and gravy. Arugula gives that pepper taste!
