“Love looking around and finding the hidden gems that you can find in this store. I especially love looking for Stitch items is become a favorite shopping spot for me and my niece to Stitch hunt.”
“This is not my kind of store, but young people are definitely the target group. My teen-age grandchild liked it for the posters. It was unorganized. My personal opinion is that it was a cross between Dollar Tree and Spencer Gifts, minus the erotic items. I can't see me needing this store, but young people will like it.”
“I shop here all the time. I don't think that some people know what you can get in a dollar store that will save you a lot of money. I think there are a lot of things that some people just don't realize. You should go to the store and walk the whole thing just to see what they have. I think you'll be surprised at what you can get for $1.25. I do recommend taking a look. The people have always been very nice here as well.”

“The cleanest family dollar (or frankly dollar store) that I’ve seen in all my time in Ohio and Kentucky. Organized, well lit, clean, the staff was helpful and the people who were shopping were even nice (which is none of their business but I had a nice experience). Alexandra helped me at checkout, she was great, and the guy in front of me said “on a scale of 1-10 I give her an 11”. I have zero complaints it was a great time. I’m sure I’ll be back.”

“This is the first time I've been to the store on Beechmont. It was amazing when I walked in because it's huge. Anyways, I shop clearance and a lot of markdown items because I work for Urgent Care and I like to buy sick kids little goodies. I noticed your clearance items and it had 50% off on top of what they're already marked down so I spent a really good time in that section putting stuff in my basket. I was so excited because I got a lot of stuff for only $10. Amy, who is an employee, is super awesome and nice! My first question was I do get 50% off on top of the already marked down price correct. She did tell me no because the signs aren't down but she will go ahead and give me what I have in my basket since the sign was up. My heart about dropped when she told me no at first because I just spent a really good time going through all that stuff. LOL but she gave me my stuff that I had in my basket and was very nice about it and told me that it's not right to not do it because that's what it says and that's what I saw. Her customer service skills are phenomenal. I will definitely be back, and as matter of fact this will probably be my Dollar General I go to for now on. Thank you so much Amy for your time and generosity Dollar General is very lucky to have an employee like you! Keep up the good work!”
“It's just like any other Family Dollar location throughout the country. This particular one is located in a mostly abandoned shopping center, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't kind of worried that I was going to blow out a tire or break an axle in the parking lot that is in terrible shape. Lol. But on my visit here, they had everything I needed, and the staff was friendly and polite. I'd go back.”

“I see alot of reviews on here bashing this place because the self checkout closed. As if your time is so precious. God forbid you wait 5 minutes longer. News flash geniuses, IF PEOPLE DIDNT STEAL AND ROB THE PLACE BLIND, THEN SELF CHECKOUT WOULD STILL BE OPEN!! It's called loss prevention. Should Dollar General just continue to take losses so that you can hurry back to whatever mundane activity you were engaged in???? Get real. Stop being selfish and stand there and quit crying. This place has always been accommodating to me and my children. They do whatever is within their means to make our experience a pleasant one. The store is immaculate and the bathrooms are so clean, sometimes I have a picnic in the center of the floor. As far as closing early, I swear that's an anomaly because I'm always just barely making it there and the doors are open. I'm not playing devils advocate here, but nowadays people are just such cry baby's. You are gonna let the ONE THING a place does that upsets you, overshadow the multitude of things they've done right by you??????
Something is wrong with that picture. Would you be so hard on yourself??? I doubt it. Stop crying and use that five minutes you're standing there waiting for an associate as time to reflect on your life and the things you may need to change or tighten up on. Hell, you may have an epiphany and become a new, better person as a result. Then what???? Thank god for that five minutes of idle time or you'd have never found yourself. I bet you wouldn't thank Dollar General or even attribute any of that spiritual awakening to the time you spent in line while shopping there. But by God they better not lock that door before 10 on the nose!!! Have you taken the time to look and see what time almost every other Dollar General closes?? You people are extremely bored and lame. I'm not much better because I just typed all of this. I couldn't help it though. The gripes you people have are the weirdest,fakes, annoying grieveances I've ever read and it really irritated me. I've been in stores with HORRIBLE customer service. This ain't one of em. Get real.”

Like battery candles or all shapes, sizes, glow in dark sticks, fake flowers, etc; those are great , fast pick up. & cheaper than big box stores. & they have tons of balloons to pick from . “I was pleasantly surprised. I went to buy 20% off giftcards for black friday weekend. This is a cross between big lots and a small gas station store. I like the inexpensive greeting cards for 1 dollar and they are American Greeting. They occasionally have some decent sales on pop or soup. Surprised that they lock up laundry pods. Employees were friendly. They have digital coupons.”

“By far the nicest dollar general I have ever shopped at, and quite honestly just a wonderful general store. Staff are so kind, always greeting you and always helpful. I don’t want to undermine any of these other reviews but something makes me think they were negative for personal reasons and not professional.
Everything is ALWAYS stocked, and I have never once seen any stock boxes in the aisles. It is well lit, accessible and clean!!
This store doesn’t even compare to any other dollar general because it is the best one by far!!!”

“We stopped at this location Sunday afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in to see that the store was fairly well-stocked and pretty neat and tidy! This is more than I can say for dollar stores around where I live in Kenton county. I complimented the cashier on our way out and she stated that their manager Stephanie has worked very hard to get the store organized and the shelves stocked! I recommend shopping at this location!”
