“Such a great vintage spot in Baton Rouge! The staff is always so friendly and helpful, and they really make you feel welcome when you’re shopping. They’re happy to answer questions and help you find exactly what you’re looking for. The selection is also really well curated—everything feels thoughtfully picked out, and there are so many unique pieces you don’t see everywhere else. You can tell they put a lot of care into the shop. Definitely one of my favorite places to browse for vintage finds!”

“Went in to this store because I thought it was actually 511.. Google told me it was, but it wasn't. I think I can count one hand how many times that's worked in my favor. This was one of those times. From the instant I walked in the door I was asked if I needed help and I said yes, and I was helped instantly. I was looking for a tactical belt for my pistols that would hold either one I was carrying for that day. I had no idea what I was actually looking for other than that. I didn't catch any of these guys names, but they were all about my age, maybe a couple were the same or a little younger. One I overheard saying he was the store manager to this fire chief that came in. They were all so cool and understanding with me and my lack of knowledge and lead me in a good direction. I can't say enough about how glad I am that I ended up here. They even let me size up my belt and cut it for a good fit for me! If that's not going above and beyond idk what is! Thanks gentlemen! I will be returning to your store in the future.”
“I want to thank Mr. Russell for all his help to find my son his senior prom suite within a week. We are so grateful for you and the customer service. You really went beyond by having his Tux rushed over for us. Especially calling to check on him the day of his prom that meant alot to us. Also I think he was more excited about having his very first tuxedo garment bag. ? ? He would not stop talking about it.”

“Amazing customer service. I called looking for a specific skirt and Lance W. was the friendliest, most helpful store associate I've ever talked with. His store didn't have the skirt, but instead of just letting me go, he gave me a suggestion of another location where he can usually get hard to find items and in case that didn't work, gave me the number to Banana's online sales number to see what they can do. I did find the skirt at his suggested location so I called him again to say thank you, and his reaction was so genuinely happy for me. Thank you Lance!”
“One of my favorite stores; however, online, it claims to be opened from 12-3 on Sunday. Although here I stand, within 10 feet from the store on a Sunday at 1:12, and the store is locked up. Another bystander shared in my confusion when I was here at noon, and they suggested that it may open at 1. Yet, here I am, now 1:13, sitting outside a closed store which I long to enter.”

“Love my local Shades! I’ve only been a few times, but anytime I go, they make me feel so welcome. We were greeted by the cutest golden lab named Addison (employee Mikey’s) and her ball when we came in today. I could’ve stayed in there playing fetch with her all day!! Abigail helped as we looked around. She showed us to the complimentary adult beverages and chatted with us, answering our questions.
