“This store has been around for as long as I can remember. I used to come here with my mom when I was little, so it’s really nostalgic for me. Even though it’s now under new ownership, they’ve kept everything pretty much the same. The small cashier stations, the meat market, and those harder-to-find items are all still there. I also really love the artwork on the side of the building—it adds a nice touch.”

“Stopped by for lunch today in this locations deli. OMG let me tell you I normally skip Brookshire’s fried chicken cause the breading is too thick & hard. Well I decided to get fried chicken here because it was 1st time at this location. The breading was perfect the taste even better. I also had Mac cheese, great and potato wedges which I threw them out.”

I enjoy the people that work here, they're friendly and will assist you, they don't take too long doing that either.

“I am 67 years old and have been to 26 countries in all 50 states and I have found that in Louisiana.People know how to cook better than anywhere else because of the use of spices and the creation of texture. Within louisiana this location has the second best chicken in the world. Who would have thought? But the guy that works in this small kitchen has developed a breading for fried chicken that can be found nowhere else except the cafeteria in the VA hospital in Shreveport.”

Erica(name was on receipt)needs a spot award? for running this store with above expectations? of being a clerk. Came in on Wed Oct 8, around 730pm, line was about 10 deep, this lady is running 2 cashiers and not skipping a beat!? We was waited on with her sweet personality and out the door less than 2 min per customer! Cash on one register, card on other and she was so polite and kind! I know she might be accustomed to this, but this store BEST know who she is and the value she brings to this location! I'm from Houston and this made my day meeting her today! Take care this sweet lady! She's the one who's keeping customer coming back! ?

“Yesterday l was running errands with a friend. I needed to go to Dollar General. When l got inside and looking in coolers l noticed how full and organized they were. I went down where the cleaning orasupplies and landuary detergent was. I could not believe my eyes all the shelves were stock, they were organized and there were no carts full of boxes in my way or for me to trip on. I could reach whatever l wanted. They weren't out of half there store. Like someone must have known how to order the products they sale. It was very clean and smelled good. When l went to check out, the employees were so nice and helpful. I was shocked and impressed. It has been years since l have had that kind of shopping experience in a dollar store. Or a Walmart either. So to the Manager and all your employees. Your Pride and Hard work was shining for everyone to see. You should be so proud of yourself.
