“Usually when I visit, the store is generally in stocking mode. In that regard, today was no different. There was one thing that really stuck an impressive chord with me today, however. Unlike the usual bland assistance, the young black lady who worked as cashier was exceptional. I observed her assist a few people who were ahead of me. She was very pleasant, patient and somewhat delightful. There have been times I've asked myself, "Why do you keep stopping here?" Well, today was the day, even though it was pouring rain outside; thanks to this young lady, the sun was shining brightly inside. Perhaps that's what I was waiting for. Truly management material. ðŸ‘ðŸ‘👔
“Very wide selection of fishing products. If you're an avid fisherman, you can probably find what you need at this location in the Sportsman's Paradise of Louisiana. Great selection of life preservers. The food selection is extensive.”
“Had a good selection of products and shelves were stocked up as well as the cooler area. store needs a good cleaning and update. Wood still on store front since hurricane and a lot of dust. Employees were friendly and were all hustling to put out merchandise and price items. The parking lot needs a pressure washing and clean up. Clearly this location is owned by a slum lord”
“Only reason it's getting such a high rating is because it's the only Walmart I've ever seen a parade in.

It's also not very organized or clean. The employees are hit and miss with how friendly and helpful they are. If they didn't have headphones in their ears, they might notice when customers are in need of assistance.”
“I recently went to this Walmart in search of Needohs. I asked a couple workers and none of them were very helpful until I asked a lady named Sunshine. She was so kind and helped us find them! They were not stocked yet and she found them in a box for us. She truly went the extra mile and is a wonderful employee!”
“I have always had a good experience at this location. The employees have always been friendly and I have even used the electronics counter to check out when an employee was about to go and check on their respective area. She helped me check out instead without a single reservation or hesitation and was even able to get the cost of an item when there wasn't a price tag on the item with the help of another employee! Tip for using the self-checkout - don't go around lunchtime, late morning on the weekends or right after work. The line is very long and you are better off just being patient at the regular cashier lines. If there is an item you want that you've seen at another Wal-mart and you don't want to purchase it on-line, you can go to Customer Service and make a request. They may be able to get that item at your local store if it is something that has a steady supply at another store. I go to this store every week, sometimes 2 - 3 times a week, so I am always scanning the store to see how it is doing based on my feedback. So far, so great!”

“The parking lot is big and well maintained. I was greeted at the door by the friendliest employee and inside found exactly what I needed quickly and saw things that interested me for my next trip to Family Dollar. The store had a lot of stock and even more totes full on the floors. The store seemed well staffed as it was in order and had a neutral pleasant scent. The prices seemed fare with everything increasing and I felt that I got a good deal shopping here over other stores with the same type of products”
