“We were checking out and my 3 year old was putting his hand on the loading belt. She noticed this before us and the cashier politely told him that he could hurt his hand if he kept doing that. Our son took this as she was mad at him and got sad. The cashier felt really bad and did everything she could to cheer him up. I just wanted to publicly recognize Shanuja for going the extra mile to cheer up our son. Excellent job keeping people safe and cheering up a young boy....she was so polite about it.”
“Dollar General is just a quick stop store after all but today was just a very good Dollar General shopping day. I went there for a few 'on sale' items with a good 'on sale' price. What made this a five-star experience was an employee who went above & beyond the normal quick stop employee to help me find some of the items I wanted. She, 'Xanna' I believe, is well invested in doing a good job for DG. She was genuinely friendly, well spoken, knowledgeable about where items are located, and willing to help. She not only knows where the items were located, she walked me to them. Thank you Dollar General. I wish you had more employees with Xanna's work ethic and intrapersonal skills.
A Month Earlier...
Dollar General did not have sales flyers at their stores this week and the online app did not post the sales flyer either. I contacted their online customer service, and they wanted me to pay $55/month for an answer as to why they did not have any sales flyers either at stores or online!”

“Small lil coner store that just happens to have some pretty good food! I stopped in an grabbed what they call a small lunch (pick two intem to STUFF INTO the small togo box) EXTREMELY SATIFIED with the portion pictured below for 4 buks! I chose Chinese but they have a decent selection for a corner store menu.

“Stopped here enroute to the airport based on a recommendation from a friend who patronizes them. I bought 2 stuffed chickens and some Brisket Cheese Jalapeño Sausage. We ate the sausage for dinner and it was absolutely delicious and not too hot. I believe the young man who assisted me is Chris. He was so helpful (informed me to check with my airline pertaining to flying with dry ice) and he had my items waiting on me when I returned as I had initially visited the day before. Whenever I am in New Orleans this will be a mandatory stop but we will also be ordering from them. Yummy!!!!”
