About Avis Car Rental
Avis Car Rental at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) offers a wide range of vehicle options, including SUVs, compact cars, vans, and luxury cars, to cater to the diverse needs of visitors. Customers have praised the professionalism and exceptional customer service provided by the staff, particularly the four women working at the counter during a busy period. Despite the long wait, these employees handled the situation with grace, patience, and a positive attitude, even assisting a newer employee and offering thoughtful gestures to customers.
While the car rental experience generally met expectations, some customers noted the additional taxes and surprise charges at the end of the rental, which added a significant amount to the final bill. Additionally, the shuttle bus service to the rental center was mentioned as an inconvenience, as it lacks a set timetable.
Overall, Avis Car Rental in New Orleans provides a reliable and satisfactory car rental experience, with the standout quality being the exceptional customer service from the staff. Customers have expressed their appreciation for the employees' dedication and have indicated that they would rent from Avis again in the future.
