“We all know Trader Joe’s has great products, but what really stands out is how laid-back and friendly the staff are at the New Orleans and Metairie locations. It just makes shopping there a breeze. And of course, the fruit prices might be a bit higher than some other grocery spots, but the overall experience definitely makes up for it.”

“What is concern oh my God we went there twice in 2 days. I'm from New Orleans but I haven't been there much over the years. Was there visiting family. The last night there and also on the way to the airport we stopped there to get poor boys and red beans and rice. 16 in shrimp poor boy and oyster poor boy $9.99. you could also get the small round bun sandwich for $4.99. piled high as good as they get. Got to love those golf shrimp. Very nice people and a fantastic sandwich. We sat at the waiting area to board our airplane and ate our sandwiches. Still dreaming about those sandwiches!”

“Yall?It smelled so good I forgot to take a picture. While visiting New Orleans I came across this "true" neighborhood deli. I ordered a king size (don't judge me) shrimp po boy add Swiss and provolone with vinegar. Wow. It was truly king-size and perfect for 9 hour drive. Hot with just the right amount of crunch. Golden shrimp. Why 4.5 v 5? I like my sandwich just a little juicier. More, deli vinegar?”
“Nice grocery store, parking in the front, has a Starbucks inside, great selection of fresh fruit and hot bar, with cold meal options. I believe they had a salad bar as well but not 100% sure. Great customer service and nice and clean place to shop. Would definitely recommend.”

“I bought a baguette with turkey, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. It was very tasty. I think it would have been even better warm. There is also hot food and a smaller selection of groceries. They even have a toilet for customers.”

They even have niche goods like Diamon Crystal baking salt and True Lemon crystallized lemon (so much better than other brands' off-flavored bottled lemon juice full of preservatives) and just about everything else. There's a decent produce selection that's restocked frequently. If you shop the sales you can save quite a bit of money--they had Neutrogena and Aveeno moisturizers and face cleansers that go for $10 - 20 for 50% off last time I went! Amazing. I would recommend self checkout if the other registers are a bit slow. Also, for anyone driving, the parking lot is huge and I've never seen anyone have trouble finding a spot.”

“Favorite deli in quarter. The staff is always jovial and loves my dog. The jelly donuts near register were surprisingly amazing. There is a cook here that makes damn good babaganoosh. One of the biggest pluses here is they open early. Yes people, a business in Nola that opens before 10am despite the world work times of average person. Clean and well run. Has a old school customer appreciation style along with big selection of products.”
“Roberts has one the best meat, seafood, bakery, and produce sections in the city. And, they definitely have the best salad bar in the city- hands down! They’re expensive, but their sales are comparable to Walmart. No kidding!”

“Meilleur po-boy de la Nouvelle-Orléans! Service adorable, terrasse très agréable, dans un très chouette quartier qui vaut vraiment la visite, à proximité de chouettes cafés, d'une librairie super. Nous avons goûté les po-boys aux meatballs, au roastbeef et au catfish, tout était délicieux! Le reste du menu a lui aussi l'air très très bon. :)”
