βGreat little market has all the essentials plus fresh meat and produce, bakery offerings, and a prepared food and dessert counter. There's a beer cave, a Dunkin with a drive thru, plus an Amatos pizza place inside. They also have a gas station. Employees are more than competent. They actually care about their market.β
βI love this store. I don't recommend bringing small children. There are too many things they can get their hands on. It's pricey but there's a lot of healthy choices.β
βGrocery prices are more reasonable than the big box stores. Their meats are fresher tasting and less fatty. The store is smaller in size but has a large variety. We were able to get all of our needs here without walking miles.β
βThe lobster is here full and pretty inexpensive actually, just so you know they can actually stain for you in the store as well. Lots of good options to choose from when it comes to whatever youβre looking for. The staff is friendly. In fact, this is one of the first supermarkets Iβve seen in the northern states where they actually return cards to the car return instead of just leave them all over the parking lot so good for you Maine, keep up the good work.β

βSeems like a fine grocery store. In fact, this grocery store seems to be more of like the public of the south. Just really Cleaning has options. The lobster tank was almost overflowing with lobster so that was cool. Lots of different sources for anything you need.β
βGreat people and you can pay your electric bill there inside if you can't send it don't have a bank account quick and easy. Great take out food for on the go. Good gas prices also.β

βI just wanna make sure you guys know Bella is amazing! I was in the automatic check out, Problem with the machine and Bella before I knew knew it she was already over fixing it! She was very quick and Was over before I even seen her! Sheβs amazing! Thank you very much!β
βThe Natural Living Center in Bangor is a top-spot for plant-based eaters like us. (I can't speak for their non-vegan produce; but, they seem to carry a lot of local meats, dairy and such.) Their products run the gamut, including a large Asian section. Aisles are nice and wide; lots of refrigerators. Overall, it's clean, bright, and well-stocked. Produce section is, overall, very good with a lot of locally-grown (seasonal) stuff. That said, they sometimes tend to leave withering veggies out on display WAY beyond attractiveness going into decay. Other than that one glaring negative β and the fact that customer service can be spotty and downright oblivious (but, it's the status quo for much of today's young workforce) β I canβt find much other faults. Pricing can run the gamut on plant-based/vegan products/produce; however, we find their prices to be in-line or better with other specialty marketsβsometimes even besting our supermarket chain! (Their bulk items are very well-priced.) The NLC offers a great variety for vegansβand perhaps non-vegans, Iβm sure!βin Bangor that can't be overlooked; carrying a good number of nationally known plant-based products, as well as locally-made goods, as well. Itβs a bit of a drive for us, but worth itβ¦! Updated from previous review on 2026-01-02β

βIβm tourist just came today to Bangor. While I was waiting In front of this store , I asked some doubt to the staff here and they helped me a lot. I bought the bus ticket also from here and Ms.Charlotte gave me a phenomenal service.

βMy daughter is moving to the area so I went to check out the stores. I was impressed by the quality and selection. Prices were on par with the rest of the country. Significant local products. Very good produce, meat and seafood departments. Beer and wine selections were great, but then, this is a college town!β
βSmall. But well stocked. We buy our meat here. The only place that sells hot sausage, that's actually spicy hot. Plus, they sell Cabot French onion dip. It is the only place in the whole area that sells this product. It's a bit out of our way, but well worth the drive.β

βI feel like this grocery store is a little larger than the Hannaford in Bangor with a large selection. The pharmacy is a lot more friendly here as well and very helpful. I prefer this store but don't go here often only because it is out of my normal path of travel.β
βSmall grocery convenient store. Has a bit of everything from produce, snackies, made in Maine products, etc. First time here. If im in the area, I'd stop in again.β

βSince this store is their only one left in Bangor, they've definitely upped their game. They have great sales on everyday items, and the store is very clean and neatly organized.β
βWe've been getting our meats there for years and are very happy. I would never go back to getting meat in a supermarket. We get our meat pkg. About once a month.β
βThe breakfast sandwiches offered here are of exceptional quality and stand out as the finest in the nation. Their simplicity and elegance are complemented by a distinct homemade flavor that is both comforting and satisfying. I highly recommend them. The staff are incredible as well. Nice, and they add to the wonderful atmosphere.β

I have been using this pharmacy for years, and have always loved the interactions and service I have experience. However, the other night, my son had an ear infection, and I left Convenient MD (maybe a mile down the road from the pharmacy) and when I got to the counter Grace was finishing up my script for antibiotics! I was more than impressed!β
βI compare prices from other local stores they are a bit expensive and I only shop there atleast twice. For a bag a rice, oil. The employees didn't really have a welcoming smile? I canceled my membership after a year.β
βHave shopped here since Tosiers closed. Good selection and prices. My only concern is that for some reason, the meat is consistently poorly wrapped. Perhaps the butcher could use some training in the intricacies of using saran wrap. If meat packages consistently leak, -and they do, something is being done improperly. This isn't just an annoyance, but raises concerns about cleanliness and cross contamination. Please please please address this issue.β
βAlways excellent shopping there, clean, organized, friendly staff, almost anything you want in stock and on the shelf. Deli has best quality selection (especially roast beef personal favorite) and prices are usually lower than others, and of course no tax.β

βI don't go to this Hannaford pharmacy because they have the best prices for my meds. I go here because they are always polite and willing to help. Very pleasant experience every time.β
βI have not been to this location in a long time because of store was always a mess. I learned the store had a new manager and decided to go check it out. The store looks the way as it should things are where they belong and not all over the floor. Well done new manager!β

βAfter leaving the store, I had dropped my wallet in the parking lot. Not only did a kind citizen return my wallet to the store, but the staff took care to make sure my wallet was kept safe until I was able to return to retrieve it. Stand out team!β
βIt is so awesome that they have reopened with regular hours. And the people there are the best. That Tim is very helpful and has the craziest things to say. He cracks me up! Good staffing Dollar General.β

βI called Dollar General today to see if they carried English muffins. To my surprise, they immediately called me right back after I had to hang up before they were able to answer the phone. The young man deserves an excellent ?? customer service representative. Clearly a five star β rating!β
