“They had the fertilizer and supplies I needed for the garden. Counter service was a little slow and inexperienced but nice enough. Warehouse help was fast and efficient. Greenhouses seedlings were priced cheaper than many but seemed a little sunburnt. Still worth the cheaper price as I believe the plants will recover.”

“I called about moving a u-haul, the store in auburn pretty said fend for myself when it came to finding and changing my reservation. I called this usual pick up place and Percy picked up my call and went above and beyond to help me figure it out. With in 10 minutes I got a call from the people who deal with the reservations and got it all squared away. Thank you so much!”
“UPDATE: After calling again the nice receptionist directed my call to Drew, who listened attentively and went to work. I shortly had a call back from Drew about my order. After informing him we no longer needed it Drew said we could return things easily. Later that day the store manager Jason called me as well to let me know the situation was being dealt with. Arriving at the store to do my return Jason introduced himself to me and ensured my return was received and promptly refunded. The return ended up saving money on the project. Due to this I would be happy to do business with Hammond in the future!
Ordered some TimberTech decking from Hammond for a project. Trying to keep business local and hearing good things about the company I ordered the material through them from sales rep Brandon. If you ever work with Hammond do not deal with Brandon. Left several messages which were not returned and had to go to the store in person to get an update on my order. While the product was fine, the lack of communication was beyond frustrating. I understand delays happen but would have wanted some communication so my project plans could adjust. Will be very hesitant to do business again with Hammond”
“Dealing with a broken water heater and no hot water is no fun. I spoke today to Vicky, who is an expert and giving all the information of person could possibly want or need on my Home Depot offers for water, heaters and services related to them. Talking to her today was the absolute highlight of my day as she was able to give me information regarding replacing a water heater. I know she doesn’t know and I may have just been a random customer. I want Home Depot to know how appreciated speaking with her today. Reviews are not always positive, but this one is intended to be nothing but as I do not have enough good to say. I hope Home Depot greatly appreciates you and you know that you are appreciated by people that you don’t know!”

“Decent store. Horrible return policy. They use a third party(The Retail Equation) that approves but mainly denies returns even if you never returned at homedepot. You can't exchange homedepots own in-house brands for other items without a receipt. Even if the item is a gift and still new sealed in the package. It's insane.”

“Went to the Lisbon, Maine Aubuchon/Ace to stock up on feed, seed and suet. Intended payment was with ACE gift cards. However, this ACE wasn’t set up to take ACE gift cards. Go figure. Joel called store support and was able to somehow get them to complete the transaction. Hopefully this oversight will get corrected for future transactions should someone buy/receive and want to use an ACE gift card, at an ACE hardware store.”
