“Clean, and always stocked on everything. Their produce is fresh and I've never gotten bad fruit or vegetables. Their whole store is well planned out, and well stocked. Great meat section, great selection of frozen foods. No complaints.
I'm retired, so I do try to go on off hours because some days it's hard to find a parking place, even though the parking lot is plenty large for the size of the store.”

“I grew up near a Save A Lot and it was atrocious. It soured me from going to other locations. I gave this one a shot and it was a pleasant surprise. The employees certainly care more about the store, products, and overall cleanliness than the one I grew up near.”

“Update: They are starting to update their store! I hope they continue to butcher there own meat and offer that slightly different stuff that you can't get at the big chain places. As this updates, I hope a beer cave is a consideration. Certainly carry a huge selection of beers and wines and alcohol for a small store, feel like a beer cave would allow for more products and take care of the overcrowding. The people (other than one old, heavier set lady who I haven't seen there in a bit) are great. They really do a great job watching the front of the store, and getting people up to help get people checked out as quickly as they can. So no 60 minute shopping and 60 minute check-out lines here. Thanks to you all.Small in town Grocery Store. The people who work there are very nice, maintaining that small town feel. I agree with the reviewer who said an update is needed. In fact, with the larger chain moving into town and even with their loose partnership, they could really give this place a makeover. The liquor/beer section is decent, but a beer cave and strategic layout of alcohols could be a good sales point. I feel this store could showcase a modern butcher shop with some local meats (the meats here are better when they are fresh), offer more locally sourced produce, and almost give it a Bow Street Market kind of feel, but with the more affordable product the town currently supports. I do use this place when I need to grab some quick stuff I forget, but with a little makeover as suggested, I'd do my entire shopping here because it's close and easy. Just my two cents.”
“Axis has great selection and the employees there are very helpful if you have questions. The prices are right and I can eat organic on my construction pay. You must check out Axis Natural Foods. You'll be glad you did”

“I love our local Hannaford! I enjoy any Hannaford store as they certainly reflect a family oriented atmosphere and I appreciate their focus on community in need as well. Our local Hannaford is clean well stocked and the people I see daily that work their are friendly and helpful. The store Is well organized and I feel right at home. I will add the pharmacy services are accurate fast attentive and organized! Anyone who's waited on me has remembered everything I need and if it had to be ordered has been there by the next day. I would definitely suggest our local mechanic falls Hannaford to anyone.”

“I was having a problem with refilling my medication-back and forth from the docts. office to pharmacy because the directions were not written correctly + insurance would not cover it (what a mess).During my last conversation I was lucky enough to speak with Autumn who took the time to call my docts. office and straitened everything out. She even called me back to let me know it was all taken care of and when my prescription would be ready for pick up. Great customer service is hard to find these days and for this I am grateful.Thank you”
“Went here to fix the bathroom sink & did some shopping after we finished the Job. I have to say this is the cleanest dollar general store we’ve been in to date in central Maine. The staff were very polite and helpful. Everyone was doing something in the store which was really nice to see. 10/10 recommend going to this location.”

“This place is convenient for its location for sure ..the area it’s located at may be a lil rough for some that don’t know the area well ..but from what I seen as well as experienced every time I go their is the staff/workers area very decent people to everyone..they know must of their customers greatly or at least the treatment reflects that .. very cool to see that some businesses have that family kinda feeling they treat all theirCustomers like their the most important clients around ..some people may not have any people in their world that cares enough to ask about their day but this store does that ..very cool to see that people are still friendly to everyone that enters this location as they do ….”

“With all the 1-stars and negativity, I feel I should bring some positivity. All of my experiences here have been great. Patient and helpful.Something to keep in mind, everyone. These folks fill prescriptions for hundreds of people each week, and can only work during business hours. Some prescriptions may not be filled immediately.There is a lot that goes into pharmacy work, that we could never really understand. If your prescription is urgent, call ahead and ask about them. These folks will work with you. Please don't be rude. We are all only human.”

“I love this family business! I love the multitude of options available. The store layout is easy to maneuver around. Most of the family are pretty amazing. The only exception being the sandwich makers, whose attitude could definitely improve towards their customers. The food is fantastic. I have been going since I was a child and bring my kids often to pick up sandwiches and snacks for a treat.”
