About Alamo Rent A Car
Alamo Rent A Car at Portland Airport offers competitive prices and convenient service, making it easy to rent a vehicle for both local and international trips. Customers appreciate the fast and smooth process, especially with pre-registration and Accelerated Check-in, which speeds up pickup and return. The rental fleet includes vehicles that often exceed expectations, with some upgrades provided free of charge. However, some vehicles have been reported as overdue for maintenance, such as oil changes, and may have issues like smeared windows or unpleasant odors. The staff generally provide excellent service, with friendly and helpful employees, though a few reviews mention instances of less friendly interactions. Returning vehicles is straightforward and simple, whether at Portland or Boston airports. Overall, customers find Alamo to be a good value with good gas mileage vehicles, making it a reliable choice for a pleasant and affordable rental experience.

Eager and helpful staff made pick up and drop off a breeze. They act as if they actually enjoy working there! Brand new vehicle, cold water provided, all around pleasant experience - quite a contrast to the usual rental car runaround.
