“This isn't just a convenience store, but also a full deli, so it's one of the few inexpensive options for a quick bite to eat on this side of town. They even had ready-made pizze available to grab by the slice when I stopped by, but the made-to-order menu, which included panini, wraps, and burgers, looked more appealing to me.Indeed, a solid choice. A chicken parmesan sandwich, for example, was a nicely fried, nicely sized portion for a reasonable $9.99 price. Add plenty of drinks and snacks to choose from and you've got a nicely self-catered lunch. The only drawback might be a lack of seating outside, but there was generally enough space in their parking lot for folks to eat in their cars or to take things out. A solid find thanks to a serendipitous search of Google Maps while on a day trip exploring Maine coastal towns.”

“This market is so cute and the baked goods they have are delicious. It has an impressive beer and wine selection for its size, and I love that they have little candies for only a few cents, which is great for a small treat for my kiddo to learn about money.”

“I recently stumbled upon the Irving Gas station in Freeport and it was like finding a hidden treasure, but with gasoline instead of gold. The staff's enthusiasm rivaled that of a cheerleading squad, and the fuel prices were so good, they made my wallet do a happy dance. If you're ever in the area and in need of some fuel-filled fun, swing by this gas station and prepare to be pleasantly surprised!”

“I have nothing but good things to say about this place as a truck driver. Awesome showers, Great driver lounge, Free parking. Alot of my pickup and drop locations are only a few miles away, so the location is prime. Big truck stop amenities with a small town feel. “Great traveling in and out location, easy interstate stop no wait. Great stop and amazingly friendly cashier. Bathrooms were outside, but after working 2 years for a gas station, they were very nice for outside access bathrooms. Bathrooms are also unlocked unless in use which was awesome!! No going in to ask for a key and waste time.”

“The drive thru pharmacy is great! Very quick and easy...got a print out for 2019 purchases and a refill in just a few minutes. Unfortunately, we had to go directly TO the pharmacy because the Walgreens (in this Southern Maine area anyway!) new phone system is a runaround and ridiculous! This is a complaint I've only recently experienced, but had heard from numerous people recently, even employees of Walgreen.”

“The crown jewel of Pownal’s celebrated downtown district. Keeping us locals gassed up and supplied with cheap coffee and snacks. Recently renovated and upgraded to include a bigger selection of local beers, which if you’re gonna gentrify slowly, that’s just the price we’ll have to pay.”
