“Ken and his partner were amazing today. We had a situation with the first tv we ordered where we didn’t receive the cable and once we did, we noticed the tv didn’t work. Today they delivered our replacement. The 2 of them even took it out of the box to make sure it was in wasn’t damaged. I guess the cable accidentally got put in the box for the old tv when they took it back. I called Leon’s and they said I could pick up the cord tomorrow. Ken went out of his way to contact me and even delivered it to me on his own personal time. I’m really grateful we got 2 people who actually took the time to make sure we got good service today!”
“I want to give a huge thank you to Ashley D. Our microwave decided to give up on the weekend, and we were completely lost. Not only were we shocked by the prices of microwaves, but the lack of selection from any company (Best buy, Costco, the Brick). We were about to give up until we remembered where we got our sectional from, Dufresne! So we looked, and couldn't find what we were looking for that would fit within our budget, and our measurements. We were about to give up, but I used the live chat and got in contact with Ashley. She wasn't able to connect us with the brand we wanted, but was quick to find us a Samsung that was almost exactly like the LG we were looking at both in dimensions and price. Unfortunately the price we paid was higher than we wanted (The price of everything has gone up), but now we know that this microwave will last hopefully for 10+ years. It's the fanciest thing in our kitchen haha. Ashley knew this was time sensitive and understood that we needed this before the week, she helped expedite the process to ensure the distribution center received our order and processed it asap. I can't speak highly enough about the professionalism and patience from the Dufresne team. “*** UPDATE *** Even though I had a bad experience. See below this text. I want everyone to know that Scott from Kern Hill Decided to make things right. He took the time to talk and yes it took a little while he was able to get us new cushions as a back up once ours wear out and even fill for the back pillow parts of the couch. He wanted to make this correct he even went out of the way and gave us a $150 credit back for all the trouble we had experienced. We are so glad that he was willing to fix this. knowing that he did we are more likely to come back and purchase more as they do have amazing quality of stuff.
**Bad Experience** Still waiting on our couch. This company is a failure. They do this every time that we have ordered from them. I ordered our couch July 5th and they told me 2 weeks and it is still not here on Aug 10th. I called at the 2 week mark and they gave me a date of Aug 10th and guess what... Still not here and now they are stating maybe tomorrow. We are from out of town and I told them that I would send my husband there so that they didn't have to hold it long as we are a company and need our couch for our guests. This is truly unfair and un professional at their behavior. Plus they don't even want to do a discount for the situation that they are putting us through. In my company if we make were to make a mistake we own up to it and do everything we can to fix a situation and make it better. I would never recommend them ever again. Now I will NOT give them business and I will go to Ashley Furniture themselves.”

This place is serving straight-up classic vibes. It's vintage, for sure. Put it in a different neighborhood, Waldos would be swarming it. But there's no way those types are wandering around here. They'd stand out like a swollen member, maybe a thumb or a frostbitten earlobe. People around here are the pull-up-your-bootstraps, no-nonsense type, And from what I understand the staff ar New Line is no different. But I'm here to tell you about storefron. ts vintage appeal is authentic. It wasn't given some distressed treatment to attract a stressed-out hipster crowd. No, this building and the store it houses have been here quite some time, seen it all, I'm sure. Quietly offering custom bar furniture for folks in need of a place to relax and enjoy a sports game from their own basement after a hard week's work. All while letting the magic of time transform the storefront into a fine specimen of vintage curbside aesthetics in Winnipeg's north end.
All that said, we have to address the obvious: the sign. Let's just say the font choice is... questionable. Think MS Word 95 trying way too hard to be modern. Some people might appreciate the contrasting composition, but for me, it breaks my heart.

The red door is a winner, and the worn brick has a certain lived-in appeal. But that sign? It needs to go back to the drawing board. If they can clean up the typography while keeping the vintage feel, this storefront could be a real head-turner.
