Sight: the colorful, beautiful items alone could keep you browsing easily for an hour or more.
Smell: the candles are all incredible.
Touch: the fibers of the clothing, purses and tote bags are top quality and pleasing to the touch.

To top it off, In the Sand in the rear part of the store is the BEST spot for gorgeous permanent jewelry.
Can you tell I've done it all? I've purchased many items from Shannon throughout the last 6ish years and have never been disappointed. I've had my permanent bracelet from Vivi's In the Sand for the last 6 months and continue to get compliments on its beauty all the time.

Not only do I love shopping here, but I also consign my own items, which says a lot about the trust I have in the store. The merchandise is thoughtfully curated, in excellent condition, and priced fairly. You can tell the owner takes great care in selecting quality pieces, and her taste really shows throughout the store. She's also incredibly kind, honest, and welcoming. “The products are very cute and of course Vans quality is great! The staff, however, bring this store to the next level. I went here yesterday and my sister ended up purchasing overalls, and then I came back today trying to backtrack a lost wallet. Both times, we walked in to a very cheerful welcome and such intentional and caring service - from multiple different staff members! They mourned my lost wallet with me and they celebrated it's finding with me as well!!

“Ivan was such a sweet, pleasant guy! He acknowledged my 9-month-old as such a chill, cool baby although he was trying to grab a Warheads pickle amongst other things off a shelf lol. He shared stories about how he also liked sour candies & suggested I buy a Warheads peach soda which I had my eye on. He let me know about the sale they were having that I didn’t know about. My boyfriend & I thoroughly enjoyed our convo w/ Ivan & hope to see him when we visit again. He was like a friend to us.”
“My mother and I had a great customer experience at this New Balance store! The staff is always friendly and helpful. Keegan recommended the 990s for my mother who suffers from an arthritic knee. He was patience and helped her try on several different styles until she got the correct shoe. Thanks Keegan and the rest of the staff, you all are great!”

“I absolutely hate shopping, but sometimes you have to! As someone with long legs, finding clothes that actually fit and work for me can be a challenge. Buckle is one of the few stores that offers a selection that caters to my needs, so I traveled all the way from Delaware to shop.
From the moment I walked through the door, Kristeena took care of me. She listened to everything I was looking for, and went above and beyond to help me find the right pieces. She truly pampered me throughout the entire experience and, somehow, actually made shopping enjoyable!
The entire staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. It was such a refreshing experience to feel genuinely taken care of rather than just feeling like another customer.

“I recently visited the Chico’s store in Annapolis Maryland at the harbor center. Upon entering the store a sales associate immediately greeted me and ask me if I needed any assistance just let her know. It caught me off guard because that doesn’t happen anymore in stores. I was looking for something for my sister and cousin. They were so helpful. I was able to get a few items and was even given the current sale promotion price for the clothes and jewelry that I purchased. This was a very great experience for me since I rarely shop for women clothes in a women clothing store. The store manager and sales associate were very helpful, polite and accommodating. I will definitely use this store for my Christmas shopping for the ladies in my life. Thank you for a wonderful and positive experience.”

“A reliable store that offers some good prices on brand name shoes with ever advancing security measures and obviously broken open boxes. The dressing room now requires a key and number after years of free access, which put a damper on the whole affair. Time stops for no one and it seems increasingly unkind to this location.”

“What a charming store! The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the owner. She oozed southern hospitality! I had lived in Maryland 23 years ago and had forgotten how warm and friendly Marylanders are. :) The Cottage has an array of fine goods and there's ample to choose from in the price range of affordable, moderate and expensive. Depending on your pocketbook, you could leave with a pair of pretty $10 earrings to a $100 garment that is quality made. When you visit downtown Annapolis, you MUST stop into the Cottage and live my experience too. ;)”
“Let's start with WOW. I had surgery and was in extreme pain by the time I got to free people. I was carrying a big bag of returns because I could not figure out my size as I was still swollen.
I came in, dropped the huge bag in front of the register and started crying because of how much pain I was in. The sal es associate was amazing during this time. She got me a small stool to sit on, a cup of water, and stayed next to me the entire time. As I was next to her, she worked efficiently and knew when to ask for help and asked me if I could wait so she could help a customer or two (which I didn't mind at all bc that as the lest of my problems). She was doing my returns one at a time to make sure (original form vs credit) was able to process my returns quickly and correctly.n She called another sales associate when necessary and still rotated between me and other customers swhich was so nice of her to do. The lines were still quick and efficient. No one was complaining or looked irritated when I looked behind me- they just worked so well together. They offered a dressing room to rest but I opted to stay next to them because I was exhausted. I asked if they had any, it would keep me from calling EMS. Although unsure if she could give it, I insisted, on taking the ibuprofen. It kicked in and I felt better about 30 minutes later. After I felt way better, I was able to find some things that I loved. Everything was well organized- even the sale section- which always feels picked over).
Yes, it was my first experience there and it wasn't normal but just alone, that they went above and beyond. I have been to many Free People stores across the country when visiting relatives and when they want to go into the mall. I've never had a great experience with anyone. Mostly, neutral experiences even as far as a greeting. Some stores were more organized but the majority were just irritating to go through. Normally I shop online for everything, but I did buy some things in store which I don't normally do. I wouldn't hesitate to come here again even though it's an hour away. It's worth it and it has so many other shops around as well.”
