“I've basically grown up in Wegmans so this one was really interesting for me, The fact they sell 0.5% abv drinks without carding is wild to me.
But even wilder is that they sell alcohol on the top level, I'm not used to that but it's pretty cool.”

“I do most of my non-grocery shopping at Marshall’s and have lived all over the country. This is the nicest, highest-end Marshall’s I have ever visited, and prices are still the Marshall’s prices you expect. Many more brand names in active wear, shoes, and clothes than is typical. Very solid outdoor/home goods selection. Impressive perfume selection and brand name skin care. Very good selection of kitchen appliances. Friendly cashiers and staff. My spouse had to drag me out of the store after I had covered only a third of it in an hour. This will be my new store going forward.”

“This is another store that is technically attached to the mall, but you need to go outside in order to access it. Best to just move your car and save yourself the hassle.I came here in search of some items that I didn't seem to have because of my recent move. Honestly, I had nothing in mind when I walked in here, but of course I found something. Like every single other person that walks in here, you end up with something.I do have to say, compared to the neighboring, similar store, this one is much more organized, and appears much cleaner. Although you can never predict what stock they have they were well stocked with what they did actually have. I did a lot of browsing and ended up with things that I knew I wanted but not necessarily needed.Check out was a breeze and pleasant. The staff were polite and made sure to take care of items purchased.”

“I recently visited the Kohl’s store in Ellicott City, and overall, I had a great shopping experience. The store was clean, well-lit, and organized, with clearly marked sections for women’s, men’s, kids’, and home goods. Everything was easy to find.
The staff was friendly and helpful. One associate even walked me over to the jeans section and helped me find the right size. They had a good variety of brands, including Levi’s and Sonoma. The fitting rooms were spacious and clean, though there was a short wait during peak hours.
One thing I really liked was the deals and discounts. I downloaded the Kohl’s app at the checkout counter and got an extra 20% off my total. Their return policy is also very flexible, which is great if something doesn’t fit.
The parking lot is large and generally safe, although it gets a bit crowded in evenings. If you're looking for quality clothing, shoes, or home decor at reasonable prices, Kohl’s is definitely worth checking out. I recommend downloading their app before you shop to take full advantage of 20% off, ongoing sales, and promotions.”

“This Olney TJ Maxx isn't my favorite as I believe the town of Olney doesn't get as many nice items as other towns. The men's department is quite beyond lame. Often I've gone in for what I think is a simple item and had no luck. Many times I've gone here and not enough people are at the checkout and customers start getting irate.
However, that being said, my last 2 visits have been fruitful. I can't find fault with the handbag selection, they do a good job getting a decent variety and one can even find a Kate Spade or Coach treasure among the other brands. They have a price point for everyone. They also have a good selection of luggage but make sure you test all the zippers, wheels and handles, inside and out. I find the luggage prices on the high side for a discount store, but it's still less than elsewhere, but just. (Luggage prices are outrageous anyway, especially now that people are traveling again.)
They also have a decent selection of cosmetic tools, lotions, housewares, etc. If you need a gift, you will probably find something here, but don't count on a nice scarf, there's been nothing to be had for the past several months (May-August '24 is when I was looking for a trip.)
Lastly, in my most recent visit, there were plenty of cashiers which was a pleasant surprise and something I hope becomes the norm. (Hiring issues aside, don't get mad at a manager who is shorthanded. I don't believe it's her fault.)”

“This is my wife's favorite store to go. With all variety of goods she may spend hours there. And yesterday we received the best customer service ever. The associate named Raj went above and beyond helping us loading our item to our car. We had some trouble loading it and I was about to return the item. Raj tried different ways to load and then came up with a brilliant approach. He spent good deal of time helping us and provided caution advices for our trip home. We really appreciate your help!”

“I came in here on a mission to seek tea tree oil for my surgical scars. In a young lady, by the name of Audrey W assisted me when I asked her if she knew where somewhere? She automatically found two bottles that I needed of tea tree oil. It was so kind of her to help me out due to the fact that I'm only two weeks out surgery. That's what I call customer service.”

They allowed me to schedule a reshoot which, by the way, was an EXTREMELY great experience with Austin! He was patient, kind, and gave direction for our family to look our best and feel comfortable. I appreciate the staff who were able to capture and retake the memories with our family. Thank you for your time and assistance with the matter. I give this review 4 stars since I would’ve liked the positive experience to have happened the first time we took photos other than that, I left the studio with a smile on my face and will continue to have my family photos taken at JCPenny! ?
Original Review: Been coming here for over 3 years and never had an issue until today!!! I just had a baby and wanted family portraits. My photographer, Summer, was rude and picked THE WORST photos taken for the digital album. Paid $130 just for my eyes to be closed in some of the photos and my youngest daughter’s face covered and didn’t even get to do the proper family portrait positions. Very unhappy with the quality of the photos since she rushed through it and don’t take the time to make us look our best which is her job. Have not been able to reach a manger or anyone after taking the JCPenny Survey and don’t plan to come back to the Columbia Mall location or maybe any of them for that matter. Look at the photos and tell me that you wouldn’t be upset that out of the 35 taken these are what she picks! These were the only 3 i had with my daughters and each one of them is awful! Eyes closed in one, her face covered in the other, and hair is messed up in the last one. UNACCEPTABLE”

“TJ Maxx here carries very similar things to Marshalls on the other level of this mall. They always carry different things, so you'll be surprised when you visit. It's a hit or a miss for me, as I'm usually looking for gifts and sometimes can't find what I'm looking for. But I do find good deals for some items once in a while.”
