Visiting the LEGO Store with my daughter turned out to be one of those truly unforgettable experiences that you don’t plan—but end up treasuring forever. We were simply strolling by when, to my surprise and pure luck, I spotted the Nike Dunk set I’d been searching for. I walked in, and from the moment we entered, the energy and hospitality were off the charts.
We were immediately greeted with warmth and smiles, but it was at checkout that the experience took a turn from great to exceptional. That’s where we met Nick—someone who made an impression I won’t soon forget. Not only was he knowledgeable, but his excitement was contagious. He mentioned the “Build Your Own LEGO Logo” experience, and from that moment, my daughter and I were completely hooked.
Enter Nicole—an absolute gem. She guided us through the entire build process with incredible patience, especially with my curious and imaginative 5-year-old. Nicole didn’t just help us build a logo; she helped build a memory. Her kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care turned a fun activity into a shared experience we’ll always cherish.
Every team member we interacted with had an answer to every question—honestly, it was shocking how helpful and informed everyone was. The level of service, attention to detail, and pure joy from the staff made us feel like VIPs.
Thank you to the entire LEGO Store team—especially Nick and Nicole—for making our day so special. We walked out with a cool set, a custom logo, and hearts full of joy. We’ll definitely be back!”
“Stopped for the first time on Tuesday May 28th. Spoke to Andy, the manager and owner. Great comic shop! An excellent selection of current comics, back issues, and trades. Plus their selection of toys and action figures was really good! I found two trades that were tough to find for me. Andy asked me if it was my first visit. I replied yes and ended up receiving a very nice gift/ thank you bag! Looking forward to my next trip!!”

“I don’t go to bookstores often (my tax dollars support the local library), but every time I’ve gone to Long Gate’s B&N I’ve been pleased. The absence of ramps and heaviness of the doors don’t bother me now that my kids are out of strollers and in college, and I like browsing so I can add books to my TBR list! I used to meet there in the late evenings with my co-leader to plan events for our moms group, and it was an excellent atmosphere—quieter than most libraries! I’m meeting my neighbor there tomorrow night and anticipate another great time. I’m not bothered by what Starbucks does or doesn’t accept; it’s a bookstore, and I’m looking at books. I don’t go to a bookstore for coffee and pastries (or in my case, chai and a croissant sandwich). But as a member, I do get a discount on Starbucks purchases as well as free shipping (so I wouldn’t need to go to the store at all, but what fun would that be?).”

“BAM is a spacious area with a variety of items from pop figures, to books and manga along with other various items. Not too long ago I actually bought a pop figure which is going for much more than I originally bought it for. I really enjoyed this place and the workers are very kind, but don't forget to bring a bag because sometimes they run out (at least that was the case when I went).”
“I did not realize it was a book a million when I was there. Sign reading bam. Went in there yesterday to look around and found something I wanted right away. While looking I could hear a customer at the register being a bit loud, which caught my attention, and I was waiting to get my item rung up. Listening from my perspective the customer was being quite rude to the employee, and I observed the cashier maintain a calm, professional demeanor the entire time. Doing all they could to help the customer. The nastier the customer seemed to be, the nicer and more friendly the cashier became. I was so surprised I wanted to give the store top notch feed back”

“I love Ollie's but God forbid you have to use the bathrooms here. On one hand, if its an emergency and you gotta go, there's a bathroom. On the other hand, pooping your pants might be more sanitary.”

Art & craft, beauty section is great! Toys section is okay, have seen wide selections at other five below stores.
Staff is very polite and helpful. Great candy stock!

“I had such a great experience at Ollie’s thanks to the cashier Tammy who checked me out today. She was friendly, patient, and genuinely made the checkout process smoother. She greeted me with a smile, made sure my items were rung up correctly, and even took the time to double-check a price for me without any attitude. It’s rare to find customer service that feels sincere, but they really went above and beyond.

“We came this past Sunday for the first time to bring our kids in to build their own stuffed animals. We were immediately greeted by Michele who made us feel right at home. We loved how personable she was with our kids, how informative she was about the whole process from start to finish, and how easy she made everything. The store was busy, and she was literally treating everyone the same as she treated us which was very impressive. I was also impressed with her ability to hop around and tend to everyone with a smile, positive attitude, and patience. She truly provided a high level of exceptional customer service that you really don't see in retail anymore. I got the impression that she truly cared about her job and the customers she works with, a testament to the Build-A-Bear brand. I did call the store to share this feedback, but I wanted to share it on here as well. Thanks!”

“I totally missed the manager’s name (´༎ຶོρ༎ຶོ`)but she had a rainbow bunny pinned to her apron and a cool rainbow-chrome watch! She was so warm, sweet, and patient with me, especially with helping to fix an issue I had with redeeming rewards for a pickup order. I have anxiety issues and prefer to online shop (vs going into stores) but she made me feel so welcomed and happy! She seems to genuinely love the products, was super knowledgeable, and was just all-around super-duper nice! “The experience over all was great and I found a good quality hammer that I really enjoy. There is also an employee named Jake that was absolutely amazing. He was very professional in addition to being friendly and adept. He actually saved me and my siblings from a burning building back in 2009 and I have never forgotten his heroism. He is the perfect man and quite frankly, I would marry him if he wasn't constantly surrounded by beautiful suitors and scouts for D1 athletic agencies. Over all my experience was outstanding, all in part to Jake, the light of my life.”
“Excellent variety, great customer service, and good prices. I love coming into the store because I always discover something new and fun. The staff has always been knowledgeable and friendly, and they make great suggestions for other products if they don’t have exactly what you are looking for. My only suggestion is that I would love the Funco wall to be a bit smaller to make room for other product, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pop figures are profitable enough to warrant the shelf space.”
