“Great experience at this post office. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. They made the whole process quick and stress-free. Really appreciate their excellent customer service!”
“Staff was amazing! I loved my interaction with all the employees there. Very friendly and knowledgeable of the nail services. Super helpful and always smiling! Its my 2nd time at this post office and I'll forever keep coming back. Clearly the government can do better with updating the building and facility. The people is what makes this post office a safe and inviting place!”
“Robin and Ashley are fantastic! I love these ladies. They make mailing packages a pleasure. Ashley has gone above and beyond to help me out before. Hands down the best post office I've ever been to!”

“This has to be the friendliest and most helpful service of any post office in the area. It is a small inconvenience going through security, but totally worth it for all of the help I've been given over the years. Can't wait until my next visit.”
“Staff were incredibly kind, helpful and patient. I was shipping some hot sauces to the UK and the lady behind the desk went above and beyond to help package and price up everything for me. Delighted to say it made it to London in about 5 days! Thank you so much :)”
“Had the best USPS experience here with Kia. For the second time already. Her friendliness, patience and willingness to help became one of those little encounters that makes you believe in humanity lol. Thanks again!”
“I went to the post office at 14th and T St NW and it was closed at 10:40 AM... I had to catch a train in Union Station at 12:05 and I didn't had time to take the package back home. I googled and found out there was a post office close to Union Station near the Postal Museum. I got there and the clerk told me the zip code of my package was wrong. I googled again and he was right. Damn dyslexia! I fixed it right away with a pen he gave me and he placed tape on top of it to make sure it was clear that was the right zip code
I wish I knew his name! Wonderful place and great service!”
“I love coming here. The employees are always professional, helpful and friendly! I actually have two post offices closer to me than this one, but I'll always come here.”

“I like this post office. The lady who works there is very nice, I have never had any mail lost and there is seldom a long line. I also like the selection of greeting cards that they have for sale. I noticed several negative reviews and I felt that I had to add a positive one because my experience here has always been positive. I hope yours will be too. Thanks.”
“Ms. Vickie always provides excellent customer service and consistently goes above and beyond to help me with my mail. She’s very personable in the best way , friendly, caring, and always willing to help. I truly appreciate her dedication and the positive energy she brings every time I visit.”
“The address on Google maps is totally wrong, it’s actually building 29 which is right next to the ceremonial gate. They opened five minutes late but the clerk was very nice and helpful!”
“Had to mail a package and looked up post offices near me and was surprised to find out that there was one so close. The lady working there will is very helpful and I was able to get my package mailed off without a hitch. No crowds at all so you can get in and get out quickly. It is open Tues- Fri from 9 - 1 and you don't have to go on the naval post to get to the post office.”
“The Tenley Town post office in DC is the absolute worst. Sitting in the lobby calling the phone for a mail pickup only because there is but one agent managing the customers with a line reaching the door. Called for over 33 minutes as I saw people in the back moving around at a snail’s pace as if no one could hear the phone, no one EVER answered. All too often a mail pickup can take 40 minutes to an hour. Perhaps the laziest, slowest, and totally void of any customer service etiquette. They need a complete overhaul from management down to the staff in the back.
Avoid this kind post office if you can.
The only good thing is they are open on Sundays.”
“This is my second visit to the Accokeek Branch, in recent weeks. It was such a pleasure meeting, Ms. Hillary. She has a pleasant personality and provides great customer service. Thank YOU Hillary and thank you USPS for hiring an exceptional employee to serve our small community. ?”

“The mail service is mostly ok, but if I get more than one piece of mail in my box it's all crammed in... like folded..bent... crammed in the mailbox. There's no excuse for that!”
“This is the best post office I've been to. The regular woman who works there is great. I'm pissed today because my package was refused due to using FedEx packaging. I mean, really, who cares, so I had to cover up everything fedex and them take it back. Never have this problem with the regular person, but always with new people. 2 more things: 1) this location has always closed at 5, not 5:30 and 2) this place is a mess because of the nasty people that go in there and throw their trash everywhere but the trash can. I see strips pulled off of letters on the floor, boxes left etc etc and it's no one but these trashy customers who would never just toss their trash on there own floor. Or would they. How about we police ourselves”
“Great and quick service. Almost never has a line. All the staff are hard working and friendly. Seems like all the bad reviews are from 3-5 years ago so Im assuming the staff was terrible back then.”
“I have loved my experiences at.this post office. The lines are short and move quickly and the staff is always so friendly and give great advice. Highly recommend!”
“….and the Customer Service Rock Star Award goes to….Victor, Lead SSA. ???
Yesterday, my daughter and I went to the Ft Washington Post Office for passport renewal services. Victor was so professional, kind, efficient, and knew exactly what he was doing.
The Department of State sent us a letter that her passport renewal application was received, but we completed the incorrect form and provided us with the correct form and instructions for next steps.
Victor greeted us warmly. We had our part completed and Victor immediately knew what to do. What a breath of fresh air. I believe we were in and out within 7 minutes. I told Victor that he was a God-send. I was sharing this experience with a friend and she also commented that she has been serviced by Victor multiple times and the experience has always been phenomenal
Keep doing what you’re doing, Victor! Your efforts are not in vain. God Bless”

“This post office is inside the USDA building, in the sub-basement of the South Building. This building is open to the public, but you'll need a valid photo ID and your bags will be passed through an xray machine. You'll also need to enter at one of the designated visitors entrances, such as the one closest to the Smithsonian metro station. Ask the security guards for directions to the post office once you are inside. Beyond the fact that it's hard to find, it's a post office. Friendly staff, and never a line.”
“I have a PO BOX at the Oxon Hill Post Office. The entire staff at this post office do an excellent job dealing with customers, signing families up for passport pictures and getting the pictures taken, and handling packages.
I especially want to recognise Andre Johnson, who takes care of the locks on the boxes, takes the pictures, and sometimes works at the front counter. He always has a smile, a very pleasant, friendly demeanor, and is quick on his feet.
My only complaint is with the condition of the parking lot.
a. It needs to be repaved as there are a lot of elderly people who go to this post office and it is full of tripping hazards.
b. It is full of empty bottles, leaves and other debris and needs to be cleaned up.
c. More designated Handicapped spaces are needed as I go there regularly and always see people with canes (like me), walkers or rollators trying to park there and get into the building.
d. The rose bush on the right side of the entrance needs to be trimmed. I, like many others, am allergic to bees, and on Friday, I had to evade one of those bees to prevent a bee sting.
Have a nice week.

“I went here because I needed some forms to fill out. The lady at the desk was super friendly, helpful, and quick. I typically don't need to go to the post office that often but if I do in the future I'll probably go here.”
“We came here for a money order and the young woman that was working the counter had it ready for us super fast, tucked away in a little envelope. She was patiently helping an older woman pack her box when I came in who was struggling with getting the most bang for her buck out of a prepaid mailer. I think she might have been the only person working, they're probably super understaffed. She was on her stuff and got me in and out of there quick before going back to helping pack the box. It's a really small post office tho so have patience if you roll in there over lunch time or something, if it gets busy they probably don't have a lot of bandwidth.”

“Regular post office, when I came in, was there no waiting line . Servis provides nice gentlemen . I can't complain about thys place. I dont know why there is so much negative feedback.”
“Conveniently located within L'Enfant Plaza, this located is a full service post office. The staff is friendly and approachable.I've mailed certified letters and purchased stamps here.”
“I had an issue with my mail and Tia helped me resolve the issue. She was patient, courteous, knowledgeable, and very professional. She was very pleasant and refreshing to speak with.”
“The lady who works the passport counter is extremely friendly. She helped sending off the renewal request with a smile. Very pleasant experience. Thank you for being you and making our day.”
