The Oak Room Restaurant & Bar
25876 Royal Oak Rd, EastonJust returned from a 3-day stay at "The Oaks." Our daughter and her family stayed at the "The Inn at Perry Cabin." We declined to pay the additional cost for Perry Cabin and we are so glad we did. Both accommodations and amenities were superb, but The Oaks was actually nicer in every aspect. "Our" Inn was completely modernized and refurbished 3 years ago. It seemed much brighter and fresher than Perry Cabin. Moreover the water views were far superior and much closer to the water. Perhaps I'd give a slight edge to the Perry Cabin restaurant, but that's it. In every other respect, The Oaks was nicer. Don't get me wrong, Perry Cabin is very luxurious also - just not quite as much, and significantly more expensive. I did notice that the guests' luxury cars seemed more exclusive at Perry Cabin!
