“I checked online, gave them the make and model and year of my car, and the part i needed was is stock. I asked the staff, and glancing at the part number, he asked a few questions and told me i was asking for the wrong part. Then he looked it up and confirmed it. I was sure i was right, and he walked with me to my car, and pointed to it … Sure enough, i had removed the wrong part from my car! He was right! Very knowledgeable, and very friendly.”
“I hit a deer on Dec 30. Needless to say I had extensive damage to the front of my 2017 Mazda Soul Red Cx5. This is multi stage paint - probably irritating to match.
I took it into Gerber for an estimate. Ian (manager) walked around the car, discussed everything in detail, and entered an initial estimate - telling me it was low pending sensors, etc that they would look at in the shop. From there - all the negotiation was with my insurance company (NJM).
Ian told me he would need 7-10 days to get all the parts, do repairs, and paint. The car turned out beautiful and well matched the existing paint. So happy!
Why 5 stars? Because not only was the work excellent, but Ian was the most communicative service person I have dealt with. He called and texted updates consistently. Service and quality work are hard to come by these days!! I would, and will, highly recommend this shop for body/paint work!! Thank you to Ian and the techs who did a great job for me.”
“Stephen that works in parts is an amazing employee. I came for an older ITD speed dollie bushings and pin set. This style dollie is welded so you can not just replace the pins on the spindle. They had the L one in stock but the R spindle was unavailable everywhere. Stephen went far and beyond to try and find another way to make my set up work down to what bearing sizes I would need for the hub to use the updated spindle for my dollie. The amount of effort he put into getting me the correct parts and not just selling me something that should work really makes me want to do business with west end on any needs I may need. Stephen keep up the great work man I really appreciate the time you took to help me. I hope this company sees what type of employee you are. Have a blessed weekend”

“Really awesome service. My car door handle was bashed in and other body shops were quoting me 2k because they said I’d need to replace the whole door. Glenn quoted me $550 and actually it came under that—something I never expect when getting my car serviced. Also timing was great—waited a couple weeks for an appt but then was done within the day.”
“I would like to specifically call out Marivel at the store for her amazing customer service and knowledge on the Advance Auto systems.
I needed to do a warranty exchange so I waited for her to be done with a customer on the phone.
While I waited I overheard her being incredibly patient and helpful with what I could tell was a very difficult customer. She reiterated the same policy and challenges she faced in finding a customer order that did not have a phone number. She eventually did find the order by manually searching, explained the problems the customer caused themselves without being hostile or accusatory, and even offered to assist the customer if they were to come to the store and work out the final details. She was clam and kind even with the customer repeatedly asking for the Regional Manager's contact information, clearly becoming increasingly difficult, and eventually agreeing to some into the store and/or contact the 1-800 number for further service.
After all that frustration, she still greeted me with a smile and was incredibly helpful explaining the difference between online and in-store orders for returns and warranty exchanges.
