“I wanted to take the time to update my review. Today I went for a sale and my experience couldn't have been more perfect. Let's start with the supervisor, Nichole (I apologize if I spelled your name wrong). She greeted my daughter and I at the door and went straight into helping us. She was called maybe five times to handle/fix something and her demeanor never changed. My 12 year old daughter commented on that. To have a professional woman give a real life example, to a young teen, of how to run a business in the real world - thank you.
Next, Sam! Thank you for closing our the deal at the register. You greeted, made sure we found everything okay, and even did some problem solving for us.

“I just purchased a Weber grill from Village Hardware during a brief in-store visit. The salesperson was really helpful in process and set up assembly and free delivery for me. I called back to confirm that I would have the needed parts to attach the grill to my natural gas line and was assured that I would.Rick assembled and delivered the grill this morning. He had the extra adapter that I needed for hook-up. He took time to thoroughly explain functions and maintenance and answered all of my questions. He even shared a recipe. “Love this store. It can be a little pricey but they have everything you need. A wide selection of random things: vintage candy, classic toys, and party, kitchen, and school supplies. The list goes on!”
“Lots of stuff there. Store looks small but it is large inside. Excellent variety of supplies. Not sure of the pricing but it had what I needed and could not find at bigger chain stores like Lowe's or Home Depot.”

“Good store for good prices on common and some specialized tools. I've owned and used some of their tools for over a decade and haven't experienced the "Harbor Freight quality" of having any of their tools break or bend under even normal use.
My only complaint would be that some tools (sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers) are only sold in sets rather than single items.
Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and courteous and will go out of their way to help.”
“I’m a homeowner that found capital after being frustrated with the lack of assistance and product choice at Home Depot. Walked in to the store and Michael got me set up with everything I need for my project. Asked me lots of questions to make sure nothing was forgotten. The gentleman working yesterday 5.23 morning left the store to open the usps door open as I was carrying several boxes. If that's how they treat a stranger not even entering their store I can't imagine how excellent their customer service is. Thank you again sir!”
“I initially went to Ferguson's warehouse in Alexandria and a gentleman was very helpful and referred me to their showroom near Springfield for more selections.. I just purchased bathroom fixtures from the Springfield showroom which has an expansive display. Bernie is an exceptional salesperson!! He spent so much time explaining brand features and options and I am so appreciative.”
“Darrell, an Associate in the Lawn and Garden department, is very knowledgeable and kind, genuine and easy to work with/talk to. He went out of his way to help my Mom and I with what we needed. “Generally, it's a five star experience, but I had an awkward interaction today that brings it down to 4.
Two employees were bringing a chicken coop around the building. I asked if they were selling it, and instead of telling me the model and that it was available inside, they just told me I couldn't buy the display units. No other information.
Of course you can't buy the display units. I just wanted the coop. She then used to opportunity to tell the other employee to make sure people know they can't but the display units. It felt weird and condescending.
I had to go inside and ask another employee about it, then go back outside to point the coop out to that employee, all the while being awkwardly ignored by other two employees who had moved the coop.
I get that they may have been distracted, but the two employees moving the coop could have at least given me the model info or directed me inside. Very awkward.”

“Everytime you go here and don’t know where to find anything . The person you want to ask for is Miss/Mrs Kanika. I always pray she’s on duty each time . This woman knows where almost everything in this homedepo is at and off her head too . Miss Kanika is always ready to help and with a smile too . I usually drive extra 5min away from a different home depo that’s closer to me just to come to this location cos I know all my problems are solved in terms of finding anything soon as I see Miss Kanika. Yesterday, my daughter and I went to the Ft Washington Post Office for passport renewal services. Victor was so professional, kind, efficient, and knew exactly what he was doing.
The Department of State sent us a letter that her passport renewal application was received, but we completed the incorrect form and provided us with the correct form and instructions for next steps.
Victor greeted us warmly. We had our part completed and Victor immediately knew what to do. What a breath of fresh air. I believe we were in and out within 7 minutes. I told Victor that he was a God-send. I was sharing this experience with a friend and she also commented that she has been serviced by Victor multiple times and the experience has always been phenomenal
