1202 East Patrick Street #13C/14, FrederickI love this place. I recently moved to Frederick and was looking for local pet shops, and to my delight this one has a self serve dog wash. It makes bathing my dog way easier and they provide everything you need. In addition, they carry a wide range of healthy treats/chews and dog food. The quality of their products really shows how much they care about your pets’ health. The staff is super nice and knowledgeable about their products, which is a huge bonus.

Dan is my dog's current groomer and she loves him. He does a great job. The staff behind the front desk are very friendly. Prices have gone up a bit in the last few years, but I will continue to go here because of how comfortable my dog seems to be and each visit goes well! I also want to note that about a year ago my dog stepped in tree sap and it completely messed up the pad of her paw. Happy Dog made room for her in the schedule to take care of this as I expressed concern because the pad of her paw had a small tear. They cleaned and fixed her paw up flawlessly. I appreciate how kind they are to her!

She was calm and patient with my Bandit who is very skittish about baths and noise and Jamie's demeanor made Bandit calm and comfortable. He came out with a beautiful clean coat, cut and nail trim. Smokey also did great with hydrodog. It's a perfect service for pets who hate car rides. Affordable and professional.

6902 Bowers Rd, FrederickWe have had a few emergencies with our kitties, and your practice has been very supportive. My fiance's family and I bring 6 pets to West Frederick Vet for routine care. We appreciate how caring the Doctors and technicians are. I also really appreciate how kind and accommodating the person at the front desk is. There have been times I needed to cancel an appointment due to my cat escaping, and you have been very understanding. One gesture that showed me that you care was when I could not bring my cat's stool sample promptly, and the Dr. just gave me a new container so I could collect it whenever possible since I had already paid for it. I love my pets as they are part of our family, and I feel so thankful that I live a 3-minute drive from your practice. It means a lot knowing your team is there when we need help.

434 Prospect Blvd #6400, FrederickOur dog’s ear was bothering him and our regular vet didn’t have any available appointments as it was late in the week, so we took him to VetUrgency over the weekend. We were in a room within 5 minutes after walking in the door. The staff were very friendly and explained everything well. As we suspected, he had an ear infection and was prescribed medication to treat it and told to see his regular vet in 2-3 days. The price was a bit high but to be expected for the convenience. We just received a “get well soon” card signed by the staff, which my wife and I thought was very thoughtful. Our boy is doing much better now. I would recommend VetUrgency to anyone.

434 Prospect Blvd, FrederickOur puppy at 5 months old fractured her tibial turberosity and Skylos was the first recommended surgery clinic on the list from our vet. I am so happy we put our faith into Dr. Kennedy and the staff at Skylos, they have been nothing but wonderful and knowledgable. They always remember our pup when we’ve brought her in for rechecks since. We are 6-weeks post-op and couldn’t be happier with the results of our Regi girl’s surgery and care. They made a very stressful situation so much easier for us to manage with their guidance. Surgery isn’t something everyone can afford, so I totally recommend pet insurance! Our surgery was 5k total (including medications, follow up appts) and insurance covered 4k.
I would recommend the staff and care at Skylos to anyone and their pups!

Although we didn’t get the news we wanted, they worked with us, made him and us feel comfortable, we’re honest and up front/helped figure out how to make choices moving forward financially and for Reed’s care. We had to sadly put him down today, but the staff are wonderful and made us comfortable during the process. I highly recommend their office for your pet’s needs?

The dogs get to interact inside her home and in her back yard during the day, with crates for meals and nighttime for safety. Deb takes great care to assess each dog before introducing others in her care - a great adjustment period for the small group who will be on vacation with her. Our Bella is a very social dog. Other kenneling has been very lonely and usually loud, so the small setting of Deb’s home with interactive days with other dogs was a perfect fit. Deb sent fun photos to update us on her vacation days. We recommend highly and look forward to Bella staying in the future.

Omg so worth it and amazing experience . The crab pizza and crab fries were amazing !! If I lived near by I would come here often. The drinks were so good as well. Had an expresso martini, old fashion and the Maryland drink with lemonade. This place is super delicious!

Flash was a stray, seriously starving 7.9 lbs ribs showing, very shy....basically a cat heading for the end, BUT....with outstanding volunteers who helped us connect, outstanding rescue vet services: excellant vaccinations, flea/ringworm/etc. prevention, detailed observations, safe neutering, loving of staff and volunteers, and just good attention....,,I connected with him! I recently lost my 13 year old companion and rescueing Flash has done a fantastic job to help with loss. Well, I love the Tour de France and would you know it he is a fan too!!! Flash is doing well and THANK YOU Frederick Animal Rescue!!!
