It makes bathing my dog way easier and they provide everything you need. In addition, they carry a wide range of healthy treats/chews and dog food. The quality of their products really shows how much they care about your pets’ health. The staff is super nice and knowledgeable about their products, which is a huge bonus.

Dan is my dog's current groomer and she loves him. He does a great job. The staff behind the front desk are very friendly. Prices have gone up a bit in the last few years, but I will continue to go here because of how comfortable my dog seems to be and each visit goes well! I also want to note that about a year ago my dog stepped in tree sap and it completely messed up the pad of her paw. Happy Dog made room for her in the schedule to take care of this as I expressed concern because the pad of her paw had a small tear. They cleaned and fixed her paw up flawlessly. I appreciate how kind they are to her!

Smokey also did great with hydrodog. It's a perfect service for pets who hate car rides. Affordable and professional.

434 Prospect Blvd #6400, FrederickOur dog’s ear was bothering him and our regular vet didn’t have any available appointments as it was late in the week, so we took him to VetUrgency over the weekend. We were in a room within 5 minutes after walking in the door. The staff were very friendly and explained everything well. As we suspected, he had an ear infection and was prescribed medication to treat it and told to see his regular vet in 2-3 days. The price was a bit high but to be expected for the convenience. We just received a “get well soon” card signed by the staff, which my wife and I thought was very thoughtful. Our boy is doing much better now. I would recommend VetUrgency to anyone.

Skylos Sports Medicine - Frederick
434 Prospect Blvd, FrederickOur puppy at 5 months old fractured her tibial turberosity and Skylos was the first recommended surgery clinic on the list from our vet. I am so happy we put our faith into Dr. Kennedy and the staff at Skylos, they have been nothing but wonderful and knowledgable. They always remember our pup when we’ve brought her in for rechecks since. We are 6-weeks post-op and couldn’t be happier with the results of our Regi girl’s surgery and care. They made a very stressful situation so much easier for us to manage with their guidance. Surgery isn’t something everyone can afford, so I totally recommend pet insurance! Our surgery was 5k total (including medications, follow up appts) and insurance covered 4k.
I would recommend the staff and care at Skylos to anyone and their pups!

3540 Worthington Blvd, FrederickI have been with Compassion since we adopted our first dog , Ginger, 10 years ago. Since then, we adopted a 2nd, Millie, who vibed like a chill old drunken sailor. There have been many calls/texts, sick visits, medications, and consultations within that time and I can honestly say every single contact has been nothing but top notch expertise and family friendly service from everyone there.
We had to put Millie down this past November, and as expected the staff were so kind, gentle and accommodating.

Although we didn’t get the news we wanted, they worked with us, made him and us feel comfortable, we’re honest and up front/helped figure out how to make choices moving forward financially and for Reed’s care. We had to sadly put him down today, but the staff are wonderful and made us comfortable during the process. I highly recommend their office for your pet’s needs?

25 Thomas Johnson Dr, FrederickNot sure about some of these crappy reviews but I'm the real deal, a local resident of Frederick who didn't worry about price shopping for my sick pet. I called Yellow Springs last Friday morning after being in the ER the night before, Dr K called me back promptly and advised me to come in ASAP. Daisy was there all day, catheterized, given IV fluids and blood work, and diagnosed with pancreatitis. The entire staff stayed late, helped carry my 75 pound dog to my car, and Dr K called the vet at the hospital, sent records and helped navigate my dogs admission. They didn't do all of this for free, but they were efficient, compassionate and quick to help in my time of vet emergency. My sweet girl Daisy is now at home and doing great. Thank you to the entire staff for your help.

32 Thomas Johnson Dr, FrederickIn May of 2023 we adopted Dakota a 90 lbs. German Shepard / Chinook 2-year-old puppy. We did not know much about our boy's first couple of years growing up. He did settle in with us nicely. However, the more comfortable he felt the more he became a resource guarder, nipping at people who came over to the house. We had tried a couple of in-home trainers and found that we are great dog parents. However, we are not good dog trainers. So, with a couple of recommendations from family and friends we made the investment in Sit Means Sit. Dakota was lucky to get Cole as his trainer. We enrolled Dakota in the 8-day program, and hoped that this would work, to help him feel more comfortable and stop the nipping. We started to see improvement right away. Having Dakota labeled an aggressive dog was a horrible feeling, but we knew we had to get training to help Dakota. Cole worked with Dakota, and they became good friends right away. Dakota was always very excited to go to Sit Means Sit. He enjoyed training with Cole, and he learned very quickly. Dakota graduated Doggy college at Sit Means Sit, just the other day with honors. We can see how well behaved and settled he has become. We know we still must work and train with him all the time, but we are so pleased with Frederick Sit Means Sit, and Cole. Sit Means sit not only helped Dakota, but us to, to become better Dog parents. I can't say enough good things about the people at the Frederick Sit Means Sit. From the office staff to the trainers, it shows they love dogs and their jobs. These guys really know their stuff. Top notch people and clean facility. If you love your dog, its well worth the investment.

Paul is extremely knowledgeable and patient. He used positive reinforcement to build confidence and teach Creed “office manners”. Paul also, taught me how to communicate with Creed. Creekside Canine Training was the best choice I made for Creed. He comes to work with me everyday and with Paul’s training, has become an excellent office dog.

We took our dogs here to be bathed and were absolutely satisfied with the outcome. Our GSD’s were handled properly and we got genuine feedback upon departure. I can only speak for the bathing department as of right now, but I got to see the daycare cams on the TV in the lobby and they looked well organized and well managed. The dogs were having fun and weren’t overwhelmed. When I walked in the lobby, it smelled pleasant, and you wouldn’t even think it was a dog facility. I think (Nicole?) bathed our dogs, and she was very professional, informational and friendly. We will absolutely be back!

The dogs get to interact inside her home and in her back yard during the day, with crates for meals and nighttime for safety. Deb takes great care to assess each dog before introducing others in her care - a great adjustment period for the small group who will be on vacation with her. Our Bella is a very social dog. Other kenneling has been very lonely and usually loud, so the small setting of Deb’s home with interactive days with other dogs was a perfect fit. Deb sent fun photos to update us on her vacation days. We recommend highly and look forward to Bella staying in the future.

Their webcams not only lets me watch my dog play throughout the day, it also lets me see how the staff handles all the dogs. The staff are very nice, they pet and play with the dogs, and most importantly, they are well trained in quickly identifying and separating dogs that aren’t playing nicely. They really care about safety; If a dog repeatedly tries to bite or hurt other dogs, that dog is kicked out of their program. My dog has never had a bite or injury in the 2+ years of attendance. Their boarding and bath services are nice as well.

The food was excellent. My husband tried the Chefs biryani and I had the chicken shahi korma. Easily one of the best kormas I've ever had. Don't sleep on the kashmiri naan. It was SO good. Atmosphere was nice and staff was attentive. Completely irrelevant to their food, but the icing on the cake for me was hearing the instrumental music for Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai, which is one of my favorites. It's the little things you know? We definitely will eat here again, and, YES, we recommend this restaurant.

Flash was a stray, seriously starving 7.9 lbs ribs showing, very shy....basically a cat heading for the end, BUT....with outstanding volunteers who helped us connect, outstanding rescue vet services: excellant vaccinations, flea/ringworm/etc. prevention, detailed observations, safe neutering, loving of staff and volunteers, and just good attention....,,I connected with him! I recently lost my 13 year old companion and rescueing Flash has done a fantastic job to help with loss. Well, I love the Tour de France and would you know it he is a fan too!!! Flash is doing well and THANK YOU Frederick Animal Rescue!!!
