“Saturday 09, 2025, I stopped at the local branch located on Frederick Ave in Gaithersburg, MD to see Mr. Casique for him to assist me with getting my business credit card account unlocked. Mr. Casique had helped me on a previous occasion, and I knew his ability and eagerness to resolve my problem was paramount. I was looking for such enthusiasm again this time.
The last time I logged onto my online account was less than 30 days ago. I had no issues and was able to navigate freely and perform the task I needed. However, this time the logon screen was now asking for my social security number and other personal identifying information that was very suspicious to me, not allowing me to proceed any further.
When I arrived at the branch, I noticed Mr. Casique was working behind the counter and was busy with other customers, so I waited for the next available assistant.
That’s when I met Steve who approached me with a warm welcome and invited me into his cubicle. After explaining my issue, Frank stepped out several times seeking assistance from his manager. Afterwards, he was able to unlock the account. I am still unsure as to why this occurred nor was I offered an explanation as to the possible cause.
While there, I also wanted to update my account name to reflect a legal name change and to match the name on the credit card. Once again Steve had to step out to seek assistance but this time the initial individual he spoke with was not there, so he spoke with Ms. Erica. Shortly thereafter, she stepped into his cubicle. She introduced herself and stated she was a manager at the branch.
After explaining what I would like to get done, for some reason there was an extreme failure in communication. After repeating myself numerous times, the response I kept getting was the ONLY way to do an account name change, I would have to close out my existing account and reopen a new one and apply for a new credit card. I then asked if I do so, would I be able to continue the use of my current card. Her response, “That’s a very good question” and was not for certain if I would be able to use it or apply for a new card.
I left feeling very frustrated in the fact I had to constantly explain myself and for not receiving such help in getting something as basic as getting my account information updated.
By that time, Mr. Casique was finished and he saw my defeated facial expression as I was walking out. He politely asked if there was anything he could do. He immediately walked me into his cubicle where I again explained the situation. With a firm handshake he said I am here to help you. The first thing he did was to take the initiative to call the business help line. They were able to explain the steps needed to update my account information that did not include closing the existing account and opening a new one.
Without Mr. Casique’s diligence in his attempt at resolving my problem, it could have resulted in me listening to a manager who told me the only way to get this taken care of was to open a new account

I felt this correspondence was desperately needed to bring attention to professionalism, including expressing my sincere gratitude in saying thank you to Mr. Casique and the branch should employ more individuals who demonstrate a sheer willingness to resolve customers’ needs.”

“Went in to Roll Over some 401Ks i had. The person at the front desk was helpful. I had a few questions that were answered and we got the transaction completed. I would go back with out a thought if i needed anything down the road.”
“I had to drop into this location to tcb. I love that this bank has realistic hours. Most banks have the standard 9-5 and maybe Saturdays. However, here they have later hours and are even open on Sundays. Plenty of parking, I was greeted as I walked in. A lady came out and asked me what I needed, so I did. She immediately sat me down in one of the cubicles. She even offered water. I have never been offered water at a bank! Cool. Shortly after, the manager, Frankie, came to assist me. Very professional and efficient in handling my banking needs. Although I'm loyal to my credit union, I'll definitely reconsider maybe down the road. In the past, I've been at other locations where the service was bad. I def recommend this location.”

“For some reason, I find this branch is more helpful than some other branches. Opened an account in another branch in May, 2022 and that guy never ordered the checks for me, which I was supposed get for free. A teller named Catalina Canales in this branch ordered the checks for me. She was very helpful and friendly. I wish they didn't charge me $25 for a key that was questionable to begin with. I would recommend this branch to others.”

“This branch (part of a larger PNC office bldg) is very close to my home, but the 9a-5p hours (except Fri they close @ 6p) make it impossible for me to get to the bank. I'm surprised PNC hasn't adjusted their hours to meet the needs of people that work those exact hours. Would be much better if they were open longer, or opened at 8am! The tellers here are very friendly and knowledgeable!”
