I visited Foot Locker at the Mall at Prince George’s today, and I want to recognize an associate named Pabel (P A B E L), also known as “P.” His customer service was outstanding from start to finish.

As soon as I walked into the store, he greeted me from across the room and approached me with a professional and welcoming attitude. He was very attentive, knowledgeable about the products, and took the time to show me what was new and what was coming soon. I mentioned that it had been a while since I’d been shoe shopping, and he made sure I was completely up to speed on the latest releases and options.

To be honest, I had stepped away from Foot Locker for a while because the customer service didn’t feel as strong in recent years. Some associates in the past didn’t seem very interested in helping. But today changed everything. Pabell reminded me what great service looks like. He was engaged, alert, and genuinely cared about helping me find what I needed. His professionalism and energy made the experience enjoyable and memorable.

There are a lot of competitors in this mall, but employees like P are the reason customers choose to stay loyal. Management and corporate need to know that they have a true standout on their team. This is the kind of employee who deserves recognition, a promotion, and the opportunity to train others.
