I went to ACTUALLY buy just sugar, and was overwhelmed (in a good way, like a kid in a candy store) with options!
Prices are absolutely reasonable. I buy organic raw cane in the grocery store all the time, and I know a deal when I come across it!
On my next visit to Glut, I'll remember to bring my basket & containers for my bought supplies.

“Parking on the 3rd floor in the back of the bldg. Elevator down to store in the back of the garage, over the store, and you can validate for 90min on a little machine after you're done checking out. There's a Naked Lunch there, which is missing from the one closest to my house. Yum! Groceries are on the pricey side, and there is a bigger variety of stuff that I typically buy.”
“Clean with pleasant staff members. The produce looked fresh and there weren't any fruit flies (a problem I noticed at the Waldorf location on a number of occasions swarms ?). They did not have a single banana but had plenty plantains ??♀️. I prefer this location over Waldorf due to the cleanliness and the staff member handled my items with care. Typically cashiers try to ring so quickly that they bruise my fruit because they toss it into the cart. Thank you for handling my items with care. Keep up the good work!”

“Had quite a selection, I had never been to a Wegmans before. I'm from Cincinnati Ohio and we don't have any there at least in my area. It looked really organized and clean. Can't compare prices since I shop Krogers and Walmart in Cincinnati and I'm sure prices are higher in DC.”

“This is my 4th or 5th time eating here and today I got the breakfast special 2 waffles and 3 wings with a extra wing and the French toast special with a beef sausage and eggs with cheese 🧀.....everything was amazing for 28$ total.”
“Amazing little shop. Went in to check it out and found out they had so many different herbs. Walked out with some gensing. If you're ever in need of some Chinese medicine or want to learn little more about different things go check out this place and see what they have for your health.
They store also has a bunch of great food/ snack options. Also plant pots in the back and other good finds to check out.”

“The traffic around this Trader Joe's is very busy and can get congested. Surprisingly though the inside of the store is much more spacious than the other stores I've been to in DC. Products are consistent and always in stock.”

“This was one of my favorite spots pre covid. It's still nice, but it's lost some of it's appeal and luster.
I loved the poke bowls and crunchy shrimp roll, they nolonger have those. I used to love the soda machine making my own flavors like peach and raspberry sprite and cherry vanilla Dr. Pepper, or just lemon dasani.
They were the best, now they are just ok. The grocery part of the store, is still awesome. They have a lot of asian ingredients things I can't find anywhere else. And I love their fresh pressed juices, especially fugi apple juice. The basting oil is an essential component to my cooking in my kitchen. It pairs so well with seafood.
Gotta love Wegman's”

“Live what they offer... healthy, known and unknown...things I need to try. I ordered some items...the salad was fresh, the wings with mambo sauce were perfectly cooked. The salmon was too salty and oily bottom, rice hard and old and the broccoli also salty and oily...soaked through the container and the bag. Maybe a little wax paper or plastic on the bottom... otherwise I like the store and will be back.”

“Awesome store. Food items are fresh and very affordable compared to other stores. I was very impressed with the store arrangements, well labeled and easier to locate what you want. Prices are also included so you can know what quantity you want. The meat and fish section was very neat and well preserved. Staff were very polite. “I had an excellent customer service experience with Terron. After waiting in a long line, he greeted me with a smile and was overall very pleasant. Because of this, I felt comfortable enough to ask him about an item which was not stocked on the shelf and which was the primary reason for my visit. He told me he knows it is in stock and if I would like for him to grab it for me. Needless to say, I was taken aback by this above and beyond offer and quickly agreed only if it would not create trouble for him. He finished ringing up my items, disappeared for all of 30 seconds and was back with options of the requested item for me to choose from. The customer behind me wanted the item, too, and was happy to get one as well.

“Had to make a quick dinner decision. No hot wings, baked chickens etc. Justin boxed frozen dinners. No family meals. Single frozen dinners. Accepts EBT but not the Senior Healthy Benefits UCard. The Convenience Store is in an ALL income area. Home owners, renters, and Seniors. Most people are on a fixed income and Seniors could buy more if they had more fresh fruits and veggies and accepted the Senior Benefit Card. The younger home owners have a great selection of wines.”

“Joint Base Andrews is a terrific grocery location. You can always count on them to have fresh and great selections of produce (meats, veggies and fish). They also have the best prices and best bulk/ family size options. Our Costco visits have reduced to a couple times a year- as we typically find all of our regular and daily needs at this commissary with no issues.
Sundays are a typical shop day for my family and they always seemed to be well stocked then. I love the Sushi bar as they have the best fish, fresh and incredibly tasty! The deli and fish market are also great. Another plus is the international selections- I typically find all my go to spices and packaged goods; just as one would at a commissary in or out of US! The staff are very friendly! Even when it is busy with heavy lines- they move quickly!”
