“DMV Computerman Electronic Shop is phenomenal. The customer service was outstanding. I needed a new battery and motherboard for my computer, and they also replaced my keyboard without me even asking, which I am incredibly thankful for.
Due to the complexity of the repairs, they had my computer for longer than expected. Understanding my reliance on the computer for my business, they kindly provided me with a loaner computer. This thoughtful gesture really helped me continue my work without interruption.
However, the replacement of the motherboard resulted in the loss of VERY IMPORTANT FILES that were not backed up to my iCloud Drive, which I am devastated about because that was a month's worth of work. Additionally, I encountered an issue with placing files on my desktop after the repair.
My only suggestion for the shop is to ensure customers back up their files in front of the technicians, just in case there are any issues with their current backup processes.
Despite this setback, I still highly recommend DMV Computerman Electronic Shop for their excellent service and dedication to customer satisfaction.”

“The ONLY reason I gave this location 5 stars is because of the nice gentleman named Ian that helped me last evening (7/8/24). I was really frustrated once I came in and realized that it was only 1 person working and that was Ian. Once I was helped by Ian he gave me and my son tip top service!!! That man helped about 5 or 6 people this evening all by himself and never once showed any frustration, aggravation, irritation or was rude to anyone one of us. He was extremely pleasant and very apologetic to all of us every step of the way! Give Ian some help in that store! It’s ridiculous that a mobile store that makes that kind of revenue can’t pay employees enough to come to work. No employee should be left in a store alone, servicing multiple customers in a store that has visual damage of a recent robbery. AT&T management you should be ashamed to leave anyone in a store alone after such an incident. Ian, I wish you nothing but the best on your journey with AT&T or your next career move. “I had a terrible experience adding a line to my 20 year history account. After more than 12 hours on the phone with customer service, I was told the only way the work could be finished was to go into a store. Considering how many hours had already been invested, I was not interested in wasting any more time in a store. When I got there, I asked Roddell how long it should take to add a 2nd line. He said 30min. I then let him know my situation and how much time had already been spent. Roddell identified a solution quickly, explained how long it would take, then executed with precision. “I was lured away from T-Mobile (my cellphone provider for six years) by a “can’t-miss” deal from AT&T. But what followed was a complete nightmare. I end up returning their phone and going back to T-Mobile. My good fortunate began with Jeff, an Account Expert (based near Richmond, VA, I believe). From the very first call, Jeff helped me decide on the right phone — no sales pressure, no upselling, just honest, informed guidance.
When I went to the store to pick up my phone, I met Rocky — one of the nicest guys I've ever met, and bilingual. I had lots of questions and he answered them all with patience and respect. Not once did he make me feel like a burden for being curious.
This review took me a little time to write because I wanted to get through the full experience: transferring my data, sending the old phone back, and making sure everything was working as it should. The only hiccup was how complicated it was to transfer some of my accounts, but that was from having to deal directly with the businesses themselves. Thankfully, I got 30 days to return the old phone under the promotion, and not two weeks as some reps had mistakenly suggest, which made me a bit anxious about getting the transfers done in time. But other than that, the process was virtually seamless. I am glad I stuck with T-Mobile.”
