Pet Sitting & Training

The Pet Lodge Maryland
43450 St Andrews Church Rd, LeonardtownI want to make sure all the dog owners in St. Mary's County are aware of the new and improved Pet Lodge on St. Andrew's Church Road. My lil guy Rudy absolutely loves going to "school" and playing with his friends. When I mention the owner's name "McKensey" on our way, he goes crazy happy. The care they give your animal is just like home. Since I don't have children, Rudy is my son, and I know they treat him with care, respect and love. I highly recommend them to care for your pet. Believe me, it is very difficult to leave him behind, but I always know he is in great hands.

Kneaded Baking Company
22699 Washington St, LeonardtownI’m visiting from North Carolina and our family brought us here as they just moved to the area and wanted to try the bakery.
The first day we went we asked if anything was egg free as my daughter is allergic to eggs (caused her eczema) and the girl at the front asked the girl in the back who came out and talked to us and told us the buttered and chocolate croissants had no eggs. We tried both and absolutely loved them. Personally we loved he chocolate more because the flavor between the bread and the chocolate was just amazing!
I instantly said I was getting more before we go home.
On our last day we stopped in and I bought a dozen chocolate croissants and if you’re curious it was $75. Normally I wouldn’t spend that much on something but these are fresh, home made, and you can tell they put a lot of work into their baked goods. We plan on putting them in the freezer to have whenever we need something delicious.
The staff is super friendly and we will definitely be back every time we come to visit my family.
The place is super clean and inviting, the small game area was just enough if you have some kiddos that can’t sit still while the family is eating.
I was definitely impressed. All their baked goods looked beautiful and delicious and I wish I could try them all and maybe just maybe there will be more egg free options when we come back since it is such a common allergy! If not, I don’t mind getting more croissants!

The Salted Scoop
22699 Washington St, LeonardtownExcellent ice cream. A little pricey, but worth every penny. I got the Chocholic (basically triple chocolate), and my wife got chocolate chip cookie dough. Cute little shop on Leonardtown's main drag, that includes an arcade and a bakery as well (the bakery side was closed when we went though). This was actually our second trip here (first trip was about 6 months ago, but I forgot to leave a review). Last time I got cookies & cream and my wife got honey lavender. All flavors have been very good.

Olde Town Pub
22785 Washington St, LeonardtownWent in on a Saturday evening. They had a guy playing acoustic music and the place was pretty packed. Lots of TVs so it's a good spot to watch multiple games. We didn't have food but everything coming out of the kitchen looked pretty good. Our server was super nice and checked on us often. I would recommend.

Social on Fenwick
41655 Fenwick St, LeonardtownVery cute and trendy spot. It seems like the local go-to for coffee in the morning and cocktails before 10 p.m. (I believe they close around midnight). Leonardtown tends to shut down early, so this place definitely fills a needed niche. I ordered the Everything Bagel & Lox, and my friend had the Social Classic. He got a smoothie, and I went with an Irish Coffee - very on brand for me to try a cocktail at any time of day lol. The service was great, and they even handled my English friend pronouncing "Chagachino" with patience and humor. Big win there lol. This place is worth a visit if you're in town.

Pawsitive Passage Pet Crmtns
26325 Point Lookout Rd, LeonardtownI have used this place 4 times for 4 different animals, a goat, cat, rabbit and today a dog we just put down yesterday. They are always kind a welcoming. It has always been hard to drop off our loved ones here and yes I have come out crying two times. But not because of how they handles them, but they had the most respect and made me feel like they were going into great hands. Prices are affordable. We will definitely keep using them?. Rest in peace to any and all of the pets that have left this world. Picture of the girl we are getting cremated
