“Fairway Supermarket in Woodbridge is an absolute hidden gem! This small, locally owned family grocery store offers an incredible variety of products from across the Indian subcontinent (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives). All at fantastic prices.
The people who run this store are so wonderfully kind, helpful, and personable. Every visit feels warm and welcoming. Thank you for the incredible Pakistani mango - one of the sweetest, freshest mangos I’ve ever tasted! This truly is a lovely family, and it shows in the way they treat their customers.

I always find something new, and there are staple items I can only get here. They have several aisles of fun, interesting, and wholesome snack products that you just don’t see at chain grocery stores.

So many unique spices, available in large bags for excellent prices.

Plenty to choose from, which I really appreciate.
- Essential oils, beauty supplies, and even beautiful scarves:
Small touches that make browsing fun.
- Frozen dinners and snacks:
Including some items I can’t find anywhere else.
- Fresh butcher in the back:
Lamb and goat at incredible prices, perfect for authentic cooking. I believe they have other types of meat, including fish, as well.
- Fresh produce:
Small but thoughtful selection of fruits and veggies, plus fresh dates and baked sweets.
Much, if not most, of their products appear to be halal, which is really helpful for those who need it.
And while they specialize in subcontinental products, they also carry universal basics, so you can pick up everyday items at the same time.
Every trip to Fairway feels like traveling to another country. I make it a point to try something new every time I go.

“We’re lucky to have this Food Lion conveniently located less than five miles from our home. Before moving here, I had never really experienced Food Lion, but after shopping at this location for about a year, I’ve become a big fan.
The staff has been consistently friendly and welcoming. They’ve also always been patient with my two-year-old daughter, who seems to think the grocery store is the perfect place to walk around and play chase! 😂
The food selection is very reasonable, with a good variety and, most importantly, good prices. I Joe kidneys say they won me over because they offered sugar-free ginger beer in the beverage aisle. The store is generally organized and clean, and the customers seem to be friendly, everyday people.
I’ve shopped at other supermarkets with similar prices and selections, and one of my biggest frustrations has always been how quickly the produce would go bad. We haven’t had that problem here, which has been a pleasant surprise.
After a year of shopping at this location, I can honestly say it has become our go-to grocery store. Definitely recommend it!”

“Best Food Lion I've known
This is not my local Food Lion, but I wish it was. The deals are great and plentiful, the staff are sociable, kind, and polite. The only thing that's missing is Food Lion brand diet Root Beer, but no location seems to carry it. I was surprised by the grandiose pickle, hot sauce, and BBQ (among other things) selection. They had so much of the things I've hard to get from multiple different sources in one location.”

“Great Place to shop. You will find most of west African foodstuffs.The real problem is like with all African store the high price. On average, African stores tend to be more expensive than their counterpart: Hispanic, Asian and American groceries.This is really awkward, if we know that Africans make less than all than all these ethnicities.”

I like spending time with a cashier who has very good customer service, her name is Roxana, she always has a very good attitude, she smiles, greets, and is friendly like very few in customer service, other times I have had cashiers who serve in a bad mood, I recommend this place and the lady who mentions that she works there. ?”

“It's a clean store, well lit and maintained with good selection. Only drawback is that they have two entrances but they close one at dusk... and they have switched back and forth over the years so you never know which door to go to. Annoying. That's why I give it 4 stars and not 5. Currently in march of 2026 it is that main Doors under the Giant sign that are used after dark. Just FYI.”

“To all the food connoisseurs, guess who has great fried chicken at the best prices. Safeway Supermarket. The chicken is perfectly fried and tasty. Normally, for $8.99, you can get 8 pieces, really. On Monday, it's cheaper at $6.99. If you need a family meal, they have chicken fingers, wingetts, and a host of sides. They have all sorts of deals if you are having a party, try their 50 piece. It's too good to be true.”

I would rate 5 stars, but the customer service can be hit or miss.At first I thought things were rocky due to potential language barriers, but some cashiers won't even make eye contact or attempt to direct you to someone who may be able to help you.More positive experiences than negative experiences so I will definitely continue to shop here.”
“ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. i used to live in camelots neighborhood, and I can assure you me and my grandpa were the top customers. I moved sadly but if I could live a life as an 8 year old and go here every day one more time, I would. I would buy milkyways or Hershey's bars and freeze them, I'd buy the blue raspberry popsicles that were the best. I'd buy the pickled sausages and to this day I don't know where I'd be without them. This is not just a corner store in a small town that nobody knows, it's my childhood. This store watched me grow up. Even though the skinny old man that worked there would get mad at me because I'd get there at 5:40 every day, since they used to close at 6, it was still worth it. I miss buying my snacks at Joe's so much, and I want to return to my old home. I miss walking to Joe's with my mom! I miss driving to Joe's in my grandpa's big white truck after going to bensville park for 2 hours. If a worker ever sees this message, it's me the blonde kid you would see every day from 2017 to 2023! I miss you! ♡”

“Been going to Gray brothers for several years for odds and ends. I went in one day to get some baloney. When I opened it when I got home, the only place that baloney belongs is, in the trash. Several green spots and the baloney was "slimey" to the touch. I dumped it, not taking any chances with food poisoning. It didn't smell bad, but I wasn't taking any chances.”
