Annick was my glamorous stylist and put me in only 3 dresses. She looked at me and knew what styles would flatter my shape. I just bought a dress that makes my body look as good as it could possibly look. It's elegant and special and I am on the top of the moon!”

“I had the best time today at Madewell 14th street!!! Monet and Terrence were so friendly and helpful today in helping me choose clothes. Madewell can feel a little inaccessible and yuppie but Monet and Terrence were so cool and kind and helped Madewell feel more inclusive. It is such a fun welcoming space for everyone who walks in.
They also have cute pop-up events and have great potential for expanding into more events. I would love to see them do more events :) always a great time at this Madewell location—hands down my favorite, and my go-to, Madewell ♥”

“We visited on a sunny Friday in late February early through mid afternoon. We are fans of an outlet with all-the-deals and this location did NOT disappoint. As another has mentioned this location is not ENTIRELY traditional outlet pricing; that said, we walked out with exceptional deals and a few items I have been looking forward to acquiring, for a lil more, but still quite competitively priced.

As a side note, Tommy and Calvin are associated, if you purchase from one, historically they give you a coupon for the other store (printed with but cut separately with your receipt). “I had the absolute pleasure of shopping at J.Crew today, and I cannot say enough about the incredible help I received from Rayna (forgive me if I’m misspelling her name). From the very moment she approached me, her professionalism and genuine attentiveness stood out. As a Diplomat who is new to the city, I walked into the store feeling unsure if I would find the right fit, especially since my frame is a little larger from years of working out. In my experience, shopping can sometimes feel like a hit or miss, but Rayna completely turned that around for me.
She took the time to really listen to what I needed, guided me through the options without ever making me feel rushed, and offered thoughtful recommendations that worked perfectly for my style and size. What really impressed me was her attitude, warm, confident, and encouraging from beginning to end. It wasn’t just about making a sale; it was about making sure I left the store satisfied and set up for success. That kind of customer service is rare, and it deserves to be recognized.
In a city like Washington, D.C., where first impressions matter, whether on Capitol Hill, at the Pentagon, or in a diplomatic setting, appearance and fit play a critical role. Rayna not only understood that but made sure I had exactly what I needed to represent myself well. She truly saved the day for me, and I deeply appreciate her efforts.
