“I was traveling for work and was looking for some JustCBD products (accidentally left mine at home) this place literally carried everything I typically purchase. The prices were seriously incredible, about half of what I normally pay. I wish I had one of these markets near me. Not only that I was immediately greeted by the owner, who is just a very pleasant human being. Extremely helpful, very very nice and just seemed happy that I was there, we definitely need more people like him in this world. So glad I found this place.”

“Strategically located on the busy Columbia Pike/Colesville Rd, leading to i29. It's a good grocery shopping store for organics. It's a little more expensive than regular stores, but you're sure of quality.”

“Great selection of specialty foods from, no surprise, around the Caspian. My Eastern European family can find the uncommon imported foods and ingredients we need. I bought pickled cabbages, sour cherries, two of five (!) types of eggplant spreads, some spicy pickled veggies. Good stuff.”

“Great small store. Store owner recognized me today after three years. Amazing. Used to shop here before covid. Will be coming back. Good to support local store owners.”

“I enjoyed the small town feel. I have taken up shopping here instead of Walmart. The prices aren't bad and I don't have to deal with all of the Walmart receipt thugs at the door when I exit.”

“This little market is a gem however the lady behind the counter makes the store stand out. She is extremely sweet, knowledgeable and personable, what an asset to have. I made the trek today, to get pantry staples and fresh feta. Which by the way is cheaper than Costco. This little market has good prices and wont break the bank.”

“Country Corner Store is a gem of a find! Owned by Mr. Jay, a pillar of the Oella community, one can find pretty much anything and everything in this one-stop-shop type of a place. Just note, this is a legit country store, offering random canned items, dried goods, toys, collectibles, drinks, snacks, and even hot food. We saw a patron come in, looking for charcoal, and there was a bag hiding behind the front door! We stopped by, as we had heard about Mr. Jay's famous burgers - we ordered one to share, open to any toppings he recommended - ours came with fresh Romaine lettuce, sliced onions, a hot pepper spread, sliced fresh jalapenos, cheese, and mayo, all nestled in a locally baked bread. This was a simple, but a tasty burger! The freshly-ground beef is picked up every morning, from the slaughterhouse that is across the street; I don't really want to think about that all too much, but just know that what you're getting is some fresh proteins! Mr. Jay also grows his own peppers and such, so you'll taste the freshness! There are a few comfortable chairs around the store, so you can definitely just sit and enjoy your food, or take it to go - we opted to dine-in, and we almost fell asleep since we were that cozy and relaxed! HA! Mr. Jay is also known as the Mayor of Oella, so be sure to sit and listen to his stories - he's so kind, personable, and has a lot of history to share! I saw a published photo book of his, which I found super cool; we also received the town's community calendar and a sampling of a neighbor's homemade brownie! Be sure to stop by to grab a meal - we had heard that he makes amazing omelets, so we'd love to try that next time! There's parking on the side. +ask for Mr. Jay! +country store offering a wide range of items! +parking on the side”

“Mostly a selection of Indian spices and many other ingredients for Indian cooking. They also have a variety of frozen heat-and-eat Indian foods. They also offer a smaller selection of Ethiopian foods. It's fun to browse - you're sure to find something good!”

“Amazing. I've been a customer of Sysco cash and carry since I was a CHILD (Early 90's) in Pocomoke City, Maryland. And today as an adult I use them for my catering business. Washington Blvd Staff Is AMAZING!!”

“The food is pretty good. The turkey sandwich and the vegan pizza is good for anyone who has allergies (I am allergic to dairy, eggs, peanuts, and treenuts). Come here for good food.”

“Story from the old days. There was a very pleasant black woman police officer, would walk along the curb and politely ask drivers parked there, to please move to one of the numerous parking spaces provided. I never got to see what happened, when someone decided to be noncompliant.”

“I really like the prepared food selections. Wegman's was a reliable source of groceries and staples during the pandemic. Food always good and fresh. At this point, I'm a little disappointed in with Wegman's. I used to grab a salad there 3-4X l/Week. A short drive over, park enter near the prepared foods entrance, walk up order a salad by picking my greens, then toppings, protein and dressing, pay and either eat their or leave. Now you cannot order in person. Even if you're standing right in front of the person making salads, they will not make your salad anymore. Even while in the store, everything they need right at their fingertips. They insist you use an app, I don't have on my phone, no salads for me. I don't want to order my salad on an app. Part of the experience is ordering in person. What made Wegman's think this impersonal approach was a good idea? Very disappointing.”

“Everything was fine. But all products price are not written on the shelf . So I found it little bit hard to know the price. Besides that thanks for giving us a opportunity to get Bangladeshi products.”

“Very clean and well organized grocery. This was my first visit, but not my last! The Santa and Mrs Claus hired were wonderful. I purchased many items: however, the tomato and mozerlla salad .. it was delicious... Everything in the store was very well priced.... If you haven't been there, you must go! I promise you will not be disappointed!”

“Great place to shop for groceries. Competitive prices. The produce is hit or miss at times. The only thing I dread is the check out. There is no line system. Every one just likes up randomly. If there’s a clear indication of where there’s a line, then order/efficiency can take place.”

“I love the Mint Mediterranean Market this sister that owns the store she is very sweet and she is very helpful the Moroccan products are good they came straight from the country of Morocco and the sister that owns very kind and very helpful.”

“This location has the most variety of products out of all the Aldi's I've shopped at. I always find something new to try when shopping at this location.”

“Clean grocery with easy to find items and well labeled groceries for those with restrictions. Their prices are just okay, being more expensive than big grocery stores. For the cost, there shouldn't be over-ripe groceries on the shelf, but there are, so check everything before checking out. Customer service is really out of balance with some who are superior and then others who feel like they don't want to even work that day.”

“I love the Naked Lunch Kitchen! Where do I start??! Their house-made dressings are AMAZING. My go to menu item are the jackfruit tacos with the spicy crema and regular crema. Now, the location in Ivy City DC call it spicy and regular crema. Here, though it says spicy crema on the jackfruit taco description, the staff will act confused and then share its the buffalo dressing. Whatever, just smother my tacos! The dressings are THAT GOOD! The tzatziki and jalapeño lime vinaigrette are my next faves! I've tried other times on the menu, but my second go to is often a build your own. The pickled onions are a staple for me. MOM's is an overall a nice spot to shop and find clean, organic food. The prices for some items are definitely higher than your Whole Foods or Trader Joe's, but I am willing to pay for convenience and the lesser crowds when it comes to my shopping experience. The familiar faces in my neighborhood location in Ivy City and the fact that they knew me as a frequent shopper made for a very personable shopping experience. Try the jackfruit tacos and prepare to be obsessed! :)”

“Prices can be better. It definitely needs to update some Nepali products since Nepali people consume Indian foods. It doesn’t hurt to add more products to attract Nepali clients. Trust me there are hundreds of them in the community that needs this service. Products like frozen momo, Nepali chuira, Nepali titauras, Nepali gundruk, timur ko chop, etc”

“Best vegan market, tied for first with MOMs. The hot bar is great, the selection of groceries is just as impressive. I love dropping by and grabbing some snacks and meals when I'm in the area”

“Small but covenient Indian grocery store! They're in a busy shopping center next door to Hip Hop chicken. My mom put me onto their mangoes and indeed they are sweet and definitely worth it. They don't always have them, but when they do, I am happy. Their hours online aren't consistent so call ahead if possible. They have other fruits, spices and snacks.”
