“Deserving of the high ratings - I chose this location to mail wedding invitations from due to the high ratings. I purchased non machinable stamps, which cost more, and somehow left the office with 60 though I purchased 80. When I came back the next morning, they had the last sheet of stamps waiting for me without hassle. Thanks to the friendly clerk who called her post master to confirm rather than just sending me away. Really appreciated the quality customer service.”

“Hands down best post office I’ve been to. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable, they definitely make you feel welcome & they make sure you don’t spend too much time in line as they get to everyone as quickly as possible. There are other post offices that are closer to me however, I prefer to drive drive an additional 15 minutes because you just don’t get the type of quality service elsewhere. Hats off to the the staff here.”

“The Burtonsville Office processes passport applications and rush them to the Passport Office.
There is an array of packing materials for sale, which include bubble wrap, clear tape, decorative padded envelopes, priority tape and boxes, and plain boxes and envelopes. I like the clear tape the best. The brown tape didn't stay in place very long.
I enjoy looking at their book of forever stamps. The staff are friendly and attend to customers' needs.”

“Had an exceptionally positive experience with Zaon "Z" Quarles. He was able to locate a missing package that I sent from my business and quickly had it delivered to the proper address. After dealing with so many people on the general customer service line who didnt seem to care in the slightest, I received a call from Z. He completely changed my perspective and made this negative situation into a positive opportunity. He seemed genuine and legitimately wanted to help.If more employees for the US postal service had a positive attitude like Z and were more thorough with customer inquiries, then people would trust USPS way more with their mail/packages.”

“Might I suggest having a separate area for people to browse stamps vs. At the counter it holds the line up for someone to essentially continue shopping while there are others ready to check out.Additionally, having markers available to write with instead of just ball point pens. A lot of packing material does not allow for markings with ball point pens nor does tape. Feel like it would be common sense to have markers available but apparently not.”
“I expected my order to be delivered. I waited over 2weeks for it. It was due to arrive today and I find out at 7pm, that it was returned to sender at 4pm. WTH Damascus. The money that one pays to live here, can we get our delivery on time? Can you attempt to call us or try to deliver it again before you make the independent decision to return to sender? Did it ever occur to you, that maybe....just maybe...you should try again? At least once. It's only the same address for the last 4years. I mean, hell you finally stopped sending other mail out but to heck with what we actually order.Update to 4stars: As of 27 February, all has been made right with me and for me. I understand personnel are new and for the lack of my understanding that was displayed. I apologize for all things. It could have been said better, considering the platform used. “A very important letter that I was receiving was in the process of being sent back to the sender due to an address issue. I contacted this post office branch and they promptly intercepted the letter, corrected the address, and got it delivered to me the next day. Can't thank enough the hardworking staff at this location. ?”
“They admitted they did it only because a supervisor was watching but the counter person helped me with taping a label to my package. I said years ago this was unheard of. They replied they normally don't help but the supervisor was watching so they did. Well, good enough for me!”

“I went this postal office yesterday twice.
With the reason of not receiving of forwarded mail. The clerk here explained clearly and easily of their policy changed. That the change of address have to be confirmed with drivers license with a clerk evenif I had sent the change of address request form through the App.
Second time she explained that certified mail is also categorised as first class mail, so, if I want to be sure to be delivered I'd better send it through certified mail.
She was kind and easy to understand for me.
This post office used be somewhat notorios of unkind and strange, so, I used to avoid this place. However, from last year, it seems like this place is changing to be better.
The clerk who helped me yesterday was Kang Park, if I remember her name correctly.”
