“I came here from AZ Nov 2022. I trusted I would be able to rediscover and refurbish my wardrobe when I got here. Not only has that happened, but I took pickleball lessons shortly after my arrival; my daughter and I were able to completely outfit me for my games from head to toe - many types of outfits including sweats, dri fits, jackets, skorts - on a budget; you name it and I'm ready to play. I also had to get almost EVERYthing for a cruise to the DR shortly after I got here...Goodwill had my back. I didn't get any formal wear. I should and could have and have rectified that since. At Goodwill. I can easily find quality items - good stuff - and I get so giddy when I discover it there. Now, I rarely go anywhere else, unless I really need something new. It's a must do at least once a week. Funny note: 2 weeks ago I realized there wasn't anything else I needed to shop for (clothing-wise). I literally have everything. I remember running through my categories in my head. Goodwill has checked them all. When I wanted to rebuild my music collection, I spent hours going through albums for clasical music. Then I decided I needed a little cd player and the cds are great. I better not bring home anymore books. I have a shelf of unreads I brought with me in my "spare move" and I don't read them. I think I will replace as I read; when I do, I'll be at the Goodwill checking through their massive selections.I've been to a lot of them between MD and PA and I must say (and I tell errbody), that I love the Joppa Rd store.. York Rd is a keeper as well. When I venture further, I've been traveling with my daughters and we set out to discover the treats and to thrift with purpose. We've gotten some of everything. I think the most amusing discovery was the original whirly popcorn thingy. We eat a lot of it and needed a second one. Off we go, shopping with a purpose and what do you know? There was one NIB on the shelf at eye level. Yeah.. I love it! Btw, I have the account associated with the Chesapeake stores that rebates when you purchase. The thrill of the hunt gets even better when $ is taken off at the register if you want. Everybody is a winner. All in all it makes me feel very good about my spending when I shop Goodwill.”

“Little pricy but if you need paint brushes or rollers way excellent deals. Also found some seriously old light bulbs for a lamp my wife has, which I couldn't even buy online or Lowes or home Depot. That was awesome, stupid lamp hasn't worked since last summer. She was really excited to see it lit up again this evening”

“The Scottish Rite of Free Masonry broke ground in 1930 on their current building, on the corner of 39th and North Charles Streets, in the Guilford neighborhood of Baltimore. It is an imposing building that houses offices, meeting rooms, a library, and an auditorium. The auditorium will take your breath away; it is so striking. The stage is enormous and there is seating for 1065 guests. On the lower level is a large banquet hall that boasts one of the largest dance floors in the city. It also has two stages and has seating for 450 people. There is a fully equipped kitchen with everything a caterer would need. Also on the lower level is the Scottish Rite Childhood Speech & Language Center, which is a pediatric clinic committed to serving children with a wide range of speech and language impairments. On our first snow storm of the season, we attended their Thanksgiving Thursday lunch. It was delicious. It was so nice to see their Christmas Garden up as well as an extensive array of Nativity sets.”

Thanks so much to everyone involved!!”

“Went to this store to get a new Scouts uniform for my son. Can't say enough good things about this place, especially the generous help from the man running the store. He quickly pointed out the trousers and shorts that would probably fit my son and helped me find a belt. Very friendly and positive throughout. And it feels like they have everything there. They even have some camping equipment if you need it. The only slight drawback was that they don't have someone to sew patches at this time, although they do have adhesive if you want to do it that way. We will be back!”

“Love this place so much. They are very good at firing things in the right spot depending on the glaze. Amazing instructors and community events. Just a top notch place to do ceramics. So so impressed. This is rare cause I have been to other studios in other states and they are not nearly as good or thriving as much as Baltimore clayworks ?”

“We had a blast! Great for all ages. I went with my 3yr old. There are some areas geared more towards younger toddlers. The huge slide is only for those 36inches and up. Appropriate as it is very big. Garage parking close by that you can buy discounted beforehand. There's a large eating area that has lots of different foods you can buy. We spent 5hrs there. Lots to do. 10/10 recommended!”

And let's make sure kwiki marts charge the same high prices 4 people without money. Obviously lawyers are worth more than the poor teacher's that made them.”

“Before contacting NACA I searched other programs to educate me and help through the process of obtaining a home. I am currently working on completing all the requirements to become NACA qualified. The process has been very thorough; however, I am working with a great counselor who is very patient and knowledgeable. My questions are welcomed and answered in a timely manner. I am looking forward to purchasing my home with NACA. I know it is all worth the wait!”

“Wonderful. They help people beyond belief. I would have been list without them. Great people. Love Kat. She runs a tight ship and keeps over 150 people moving and makes sure everyone leaves with food. It definitely helped me and continues to. They take anyone. No limits to where you live. They give out numbers up to 150 people. In order to be at least the 1-15th person in line you need to get to get in line by 300 a.m. and wait 4 hours for a number. It's very cold, dark and not very safe here but when others arrive we all are very cordial to one another. Great place all and all and the food they give away is FANTASTIC!!!”

“Everybody from the security team to the aides and nurses were absolutely wonderful and cordial. Their compassion and patience was unending. My mother's last two weeks of her life, while spent here at Gilchrist Hospice in Baltimore, were comfortable and serene. We couldn't have asked for a better hospice experience. My only grievance with Gilchrist was with the home care my mother received. We had a nurse who was wildly out of bounds in the beginning. The way she spoke to our family was completely inappropriate. I hope that it was dealt with internally after I made a complaint to the social worker who was in charge of my mother's file. The facility itself and the workers there were excellent though.”
