“Very well organized for a Goodwill, some magic formula working hard to clear the air of that typical musky fake smell ruining all the others I've been to. There's a tidy and nest assortment here however most prices are well inflated to make eBay look just as enticing.”

“While my brother left the shelter (as we all know being unhoused is a very complicated issue), the people case managers etc. all followed through with every aspect of this program. If you look at the website and compare his experience; Light House Shelter delivered on every single goal they set to accomplish with him. He is doing very well and about to move into an apartment, and couldn't be more thankful. This is how you approach complicated societal issues. Also, volunteering here is made very accessible. The sign up genius makes it so easy. AND the restaurant is an amazing program with delicious food. Annapolis and the surrounding area is so very lucky to have Light House.”

“Since 2022, the Moose Athletic Club has been home to some of our most successful gatherings — including a combine, two 7-on-7 tournaments, and both skills camps and big man camps. Each of these events has been enhanced by the quality of your facility, the welcoming atmosphere, and the support of your staff. We will continue to host various events and looking forward to the extended support and hospitality.”
“BoatUS is the ONLY free online course for boating safety certificate. The content of course is extensive and very detailed. $15 for a permanent certificate, I believe $10 of 15 goes to New York State. I am happy to made a donation to keep it free for others.”
“What a beautiful place!
From the kind person who greeted me when I walked in the door to all the staff who was friendly and attentive, it was incredible to be able to take a tour and see all of the services that city of refuge offers neighbors.”
“Really enjoyed my night at The Fuse. Such an incredible thing you all are doing to help offer an opportunity to party it up without judgement. The prices are great and so are the vibes! #THEFUSE #buzzybooth”
“Definitely recommend this place!! It’s an excellent and much preferred alternative to Good Will. I think we’ve all grown tired of donating our gently used and sometimes even brand new items to Good Will only to see their prices skyrocket when really they are supposed to be helping those less fortunate. But are they really able to with such high prices? Hope for All gives donated items to LOCAL families in need. Whether they’re in need as a result of a house fire or serious water damage to their personal belongings, Hope For All helps ppl get back on their feet thru their generous donations. They are continently located in Glen Burnie just about behind the old bowling alley. They don’t have a fancy store front, but are rather just your basic warehouse/loading dock. As a donor, you drive up and drop off. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. Receipts can be obtained by reaching out to them online with a list of items that you donated. They take all sorts of stuff including furniture I believe, and things they can use are sold at a flea market sort of set up once or twice a month. I believe that the profits from those sales go toward buying additional things that ppl need who’ve fallen down on their luck, such as underwear.”
“Sporadic sales at this charity book warehouse provide the chance to get lots of books for cheap. Fill-a-bag strongly recommended. Parking can be tricky. Drop site for donations is an easily accessed shed by the door.”

“Absolutely Amazing Awesome Phenomenal FIVE STARS team. I was visiting Baltimore for few weeks and i always try to find American Red Cross location. I was speechless when I came across this location. From the wonderful gentleman volunteering at desk to everyone i met. I mean they are all so caring and genuine. It is just what makes American Red Cross the trusted company i have my trust with. I donated thrice at this location and was very sad to leave. If I ever return, I would definitely come here. And my mantra is always a company holds its trustworthy reputation thanks to its team members. So special special shout out to WENDY, who made it her mission to find my difficult veins, twice. My platelet count is high. So I promised her, if she can get it, it is worth it. And when she saw the flow, she was just as amazed. During my visit NICHELLE took special care with making sure I have enough blankets. Believe me when your body is going through the process, chills comes as quite a surprise. Special special thanks to RAQUEL and EUGENIA. The dynamic duo were just so impressive. I saw them so attentive to every person there with sweet smile and such heart warming care.
I mean, this location deserves all the praise. Thank you so very much. Till our paths cross again. Thank you for your hard work.”
“A nice little thrift store with a good selection. Prices are pretty reasonable. I found a good selection of CD's here. The people running the counter are very kind and helpful. A decent amount of clothes and a pretty good selection of furniture and household stuff. Overall I would definitely recommend it as a general-purpose thrift store.”
“From a circular street around the Maryland State House, major streets radiate to form the historic district. It is said that Annapolis has more original 18th-century structures standing than any other city in the United States. If my walk around the many brick sidewalks in the area is proof. It seems that almost every house and building has a distinctive National Historic District plaque on it. The buildings were well-maintained and often brightly painted and ranged from homes, hotels, and churches. A number of nineteenth-century buildings are also included. The area is quite walkable, and one can head downhill later to find many interesting shops and restaurants at the dockside, including the oldest operating pub, the Middleton Tavern (1750), in the state. A signboard at the docks provides a map and listing of many of the historic sights. Parking requires using an online app and is not very straightforward but manageable. It is recommended that one start walking early to avoid the heat of the day.”

“I love this place. Great people, great service. They gave a mechanic shop that won't take advantage of you. I'm a single mom, oblivious to anything vehicle related. Just thankful I found this place.”
“Harundale youth soccer has been an incredible experience for us. They have showed so much patience with my son with sensory and anxiety issues. They give equal play time to all their rec players, regardless of skill, and work tirelessly to encourage a life time love for the sport. Our coaches deserve a huge round of applause for all the hard work and time they put in. We love our Harundale soccer family!”
“I visited Arundel Lodge’s mental health Urgent Care during a mental health/domestic violence crisis where I was unhoused and very unwell. I had been discharged prematurely and without proper treatment by the AAMC ED twice, BWMC ED twice, and Harbor Hospital ED once, even with a ongoing case file from police and Crisis Response, as well as a petition for treatment by an Officer. I was exhausted, sick, diagnosed with ketoacidosis from lack of nutrition and just wanted genuine clinical answers/help and not discrimination. The lovely receptionist immediately treated me with kindness and sympathy when I walked in with my bags, taking them and I back to a room immediately. Dr. Julie Seaman was able to evaluate and prescribe medication for my situation, and for the first time in years, I feel as though I have been prescribed the proper medication regimen for my Bipolar 1. With this care and reassurance, I was able to gather myself and regain control of the situation. Thank you for all you do here at Arundel Lodge. Kindness and compassion goes a long, long way!”

“This is one of my favorite places to shop for unique home decor. I have purchased so many items ranging from Christmas ornaments to mirrors to antique chairs. Prices are fantastic.”
