I called Mora Tires on a whim and they made everything so easy. From the first call to him going out of his way to wash his hands before handing me my key when they were finished, the customer service was wonderful. I called at 11 a.m. and had new tires on my car by 2:30; zero hassle.
I left thinking about how refreshing it was to have such a great experience getting my car serviced. Also, the price was great (win-win).

“(Dec 7)ANOTHER UPDATE! Went in again for a slight leak they discovered coming from my oil pan. Left the vehicle with them under the permission to change the entire pan. They discovered the issue was fixable and did that for me! Kept everything above board and let me know that it didn’t need replaced and that they fixed it, saving me HUNDREDS of dollars. Will continue to not only go here but encourage all others to trust them with their business. UPDATE!! I went back after saving up some money and had Andrew assist me this time with all my repairs I opted for. They have a very straight forward pricing system with your consent and questions being held at the upmost importance. I got a power steering pump replaced along with my starter. There are other things to get done with my car I just have to save up more money. Will be coming here for ALL future repairs and recommend anyone to come here. Went in with questions and issues, was scheduled to do a diagnostic. Hearing the concerns I had Mark was a genuine human and suggested a specialist because that was the direction of the issues (transmission). Great guy great ethics would come back 10/10 times.”

After our former “weekend-warrior” chain service center closed, we asked a transmission shop (who was currently servicing one of our vehicles) about an honest, reasonable, and competent mechanic -- they referred us to J&H. From the first visit, I was thoroughly impressed. From the owner to the mechanics to the office staff, everyone is patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and honest (which is a VERY rare trait in society these days).
Unless they’re crazy swamped, they provide a digital/electronic car condition report at each service inclusive of pictures. Yes, you heard that right – so not only do they tell you what needs done, but this shows you... giving you an added level of assurance. They proactively monitor various aspects of your vehicle as well as tending to the items you’ve requested them repair/replace. Additionally, when they’ve made service recommendations, they’ve been honest about whether it’s something that needs done now, sooner than later, or if it’s something that can safely wait to be addressed at another time if you’re like us and trying to budget for car maintenance. If you’re uncertain how something impacts your vehicle, they’ll patiently explain what you need done and why it’s important.
We’ve been customers of J&H for several years now, trusting them with multiple cars of ours that we rely on heavily to commute to work, chauffeur our kids and their friends to/from school and events, and to trek long distances for vacation/family. Several times I’ve come in with no notice or just to ask questions and they always take the time to make sure I understand everything and often help with small things (tightening parts, reading codes, test driving and estimating issues and costs) for free. Several times if they are booked or unable to be of service they’ve recommended nearby shops that might get me what I need faster, they offer useful tips without making me feel stupid. I can tell they genuinely care about their job and the people they help. I feel comfortable knowing when I go here that they want what’s best for me and my car, and knowing I don’t have to worry about scams or false fees is so reassuring compared to a lot of other places right now. They even do thorough check on your car of what is good on your car what is moderate, and what needs service for your own convenience, self knowledge, and safety. “I scheduled for an oil change and the morning I was dropping off the car, the radiator sprung a major leak. AutoWerkes evaluated the issue and replaced the radiator the following day. “This is a great local shop! I was excited to have a new Euro shop in the area as many other shops won't work on Euro vehicles which leaves us with one other local shop or paying out the nose at the dealer.
But also understand, they'll work on just about all makes and models.
My neighbor saved a lot of money having his WRX tuneup done here, and were very honest with great prices on an inspection with a used car I was purchasing. I've taken my GTI there for routine service, and my uncle had his Volvo repaired at a very fair price when other shops didn't want to touch it.
And after a discussion about future maintenance on my GTI, they definitely know what they're talking about when it comes to specific maintenance routines that are associated with Euro vehicles and GDI engine care.
We have a few long time local shops in our Perry Hall area that have thrived on good pricing and honesty. It's good to see Honeygo Automotive is following the same path and I hope theyre around for a long time.”
