“I walked out of the Verizon Corporate store, ready, as usual, to drop Verizon. I came to this store and was immediately greeted by one of the two employees. He welcomed me, and told me how many people were ahead of me. I only needed to by a new Sim card to replace the one from my broken phone. The two guys were helping others, and one of the groups being helped was this old guy and his medical aide. He had completely messed up his phone. The patience the Verizon guy showed with him was amazing. He worked with him to get the phone fixed without losing any data.
The other worker, when he got to me, was able to do what the Verizon call center was not. He got my phone up and running. They were both friendly and did try to upsell me a new phone, but once he realized that wasn't happening, he did not push.
I could have gotten a new Sim card for free at the corporate store, but I would have left stressed and pissed. Here, with these guys, I will actually come back. I typically prefer to buy online and not have to deal with the physical stores. You all know what I mean. But I WILL come back here when I am ready to buy. Unfortunately, because of all the recent thefts, they don't display any of the phones for purchase, so walking in is a bit dreary. Nothing on the walls to play with. Beyond that, this store has amazing employees, and management obviously treats them well, because they treat the customer like people!!!
If you MUST go to a Verizon store in person, skip the corporate stores. It IS worth the extra drive.”
