“Aldi off of reisterstown Rd going towards Owings mills direction was a great shopping experience I may have shopped on the right day after delivery of merchandise I am a picky shopper. The blueberries and blackberries were ripe and delicious. The prices were reasonable and next month I hope to have another great shopping experience, I Will let you know next month. I'm reading a few bad reviews about Aldi,as you know all Aldi's cashier's are not the same, I have not had an issue with the Aldi's off of reisterstown road with any cashier's or the conditions of the appearance of the store, l shop in the morning and maybe issues happen later that day,and in the morning I have never seen a posted sign or any employee outside the store telling shoppers to ware a mask or no entrance. I do not see 90% of customers or employees waring a mask, I ware my mask all the time and no one has the authority to dictate what I can and cannot do, so ignore that person and continue don't let people steal your joy. There are two Aldi's that I know of off of reisterstown road, moving forward.”
“I had a great experience at the Uzbek store! The halal lamb was very fresh, high quality, and tasted amazing. You can really tell they care about their products. The customer service was also excellent — everyone was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I will definitely come back again and highly recommend this store to anyone looking for delicious halal meat and great service!”
“Fantastic selection of pre-made dishes, interesting cheeses, pies, and pastries. A very friendly and interactive staff answered questions, made suggestions (which were spot on!), and offered advice. They also have farm-raised meats, which I’ll be checking out the next time I’m there. Thank you!”
“Brandon at this Dollar General gave me one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine attitude completely changed my impression of the store. He carries himself with such positive energy that you almost forget you’re shopping at a dollar store. It’s rare to meet someone who truly enjoys helping people, and you can feel it the moment you interact with him. I’ll be honest—I’m not an easy person to impress. I’m extremely critical of customer service, I have high standards, and I can be pretty judgmental. Because of that, I don’t hand out compliments lightly. I’ve been to plenty of stores where employees clearly don’t want to be there, but Brandon is the exact opposite. He made me feel genuinely welcomed and valued, and that’s something you don’t come across very often anymore. If I had an opening at my own company, I’d hire him without hesitation. People with his attitude, professionalism, and work ethic are incredibly hard to find. Brandon is a tremendous asset to this store, and I sincerely hope he continues to succeed. “Tonight at Giants, my experience was mostly positive. I live nearby, so it’s incredibly convenient. The store is consistently clean, well-stocked, and the customer service I received—especially at the self-checkout—was excellent. The staff member at self checkout went out of his way to assist nearly every customer, helping ensure smooth service before closing time. I truly appreciated his effort. However, I’m giving this experience four stars rather than five due to what I witnessed as I was leaving. A woman who appeared to be a manager spoke to a high school-aged employee and told him to clock out, then continue working to gather carts. As a father and someone who works closely with youth, it was troubling to see a young person being asked to work off the clock. Labor laws exist to protect young workers from exploitation, and situations like this can undermine their sense of agency and worth. Instead of asking him to keep working without pay, it would’ve been far more respectful—and effective—for the manager to say, “Let’s grab a team and work together to finish up before you leave.” Unfortunately, it’s often adults who disrupt systems meant to support youth—through poor prioritization, lack of decency, or manipulative behavior. I don’t know her personally, and this is not meant to attack her character. However, you should never ask anyone to work off the clock. Young people deserve better, and we as adults must do better.”
“This location in particular is pretty decent. Parking can sometimes be tight in the lot since it's located in a shopping center on busy days/weekends. I normally don't have an issue with finding the items I need and I've only gotten seafood from the counter so I cannot speak to the deli or meat counter. There have been instances where a lot of the self checkouts would be closer which led to long lines for the cashier aisles but it happens every so often. This location also has a PNC branch inside which is convenient as well.”

“This has become one of my weekly grocery store stops. I like that they carry brand names that I am familiar with to help my pantry staples stay consistent. I appreciate the quality and seasonality of the produce area offering great quality items like golden kiwis and fennel that can be difficult to find other places. I also really like the fresh fish options they offer, which are wild caught and at a good price. I often stop in throughout the week when leaving the gym next door to Pick up a thing or two but I have to leave adequate time do this because the lines can get very long with only 1 cashier. I end up feeling bad for the cashier who is active and hope the managers will consider this process to improve the employees experience as well as the shoppers. Grateful to have this store in our community.”

“Best pharmacy I've ever been to. The employees are efficient and friendly, and they fill medicine quickly, but what really sets them apart is their protocol for dispensing medicine. They show you all the medicine before they ring it up - they don't say the names out loud, they simply place the individual bottles on the counter so you can read the labels. And you can see the price of everything on a screen as it's being rung up. To me this indicates that they take patients' privacy very seriously and want to be as transparent as possible about pricing. Those are two invaluable qualities in a pharmacy, and often hard to find. I got a flu vaccine there, too, and it was a quick and easy process. Overall, I really enjoy and value this pharmacy, and I appreciate the folks who work there. I recommend it if you're looking to switch.”
“I happened to drop by this store today after having driven by it a few times in order to check out some dessert making supplies & flavorings. It's a neat little store that has a number of South American products along with a butcher's shop in the back. The aisles are small and various items don't list a price but they were reasonable and had things that other stores in the area may not have (including cheeses, baked goods, etc). I was impressed & am glad to have something like it in the area ????”

Walmart wants your groceries at the door before the ice cream softens. On May 29, the retailer said its 30-minute-or-less delivery had reached 33 U.S. markets, adding a wave of new cities across the Northeast. Shoppers in those areas can order from more than 100,000 items, everything from fresh produce and baby formula to pet food, electronics, cold medicine, and prescriptions. Behind the scenes, the service leans on Walmart's store network and an algorithm that factors in order size, available drivers, and distance from the store.
Trader Joe's keeps adding stores, and shoppers keep showing up. The California grocer has marked nine more locations as "opening soon," pushing its expansion into new corners of the country. The grocer also took first place in the American Customer Satisfaction Index's 2026 supermarket rankings. It has held a spot near the top of that list for years.
Target is rolling out its most ambitious store overhaul in more than ten years, with plans to remodel over 130 locations and open 30 new stores across the country this year. The retailer is also putting money into supply chain technology upgrades to keep pace with how shoppers buy today.
Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.
Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
