1100 Ednor Road, Silver SpringCassandra is a terrific animal communicator! She has helped our new kitten adjust after being confined to a dark cage for 5 months at the humane society. He also had come from a traumatic home as a baby.
He was carrying so much fear and trauma we were barely able to get within 5 feet of him, even though his sister immediately accepted us. We had to get a vet to do home visits even!
So, after a month of no progress we called in Cassandra, the big guns!
As an energy practitioner myself, I could instantly feel her connect with him and saw his energy shift during their conversation. Later in the day, he crept closer than he ever had. He continued to make incremental progress.
We had a second session 6 weeks later and again, he shifted a little more right after their conversation and continued to blossom.
Her advice and sharing his thoughts with us has helped him grow and shift to a much more confident and loving cat. We still are working up to him letting us cuddle him, but he is now allowing us to occasionally touch him him and doesnt flee! He also sleeps right by our feet and rolls around and meows at us. Thank you cassandra for helping our Zeke shed his past to live a more full and loving life!

1915 Seminary Road, Silver SpringI have a Service Dog. Not a typical Service Dog breed (Akita), but highly trained. The staff saw her as BOTH and treated her with respect. Nurse Ny was very thorough. When I asked if she could put together a treatment plan, she took it out of her pocket!
Dr. Edwards was cordial and accommodating to ALL of her patients. She was also very thorough and it seemed to be her usual practice for new patients. She kept coming up with points of care that needed to be covered.
I wish I would have stopped by sooner! Definitely recommend! 👌

Everyone from the receptionist, to the nurse, to the doctor was a pleasure to deal with. I was impressed with the diagnosis, professionalism and remedy. I could also tell everyone in this practice where he loves animals and that’s what really drives them.

When we first moved to the area, our dog, Moose, had a flare of what turned out to be chronic pancreatitis. Dr. Mallela saw Moose quickly, advised us clearly on treatment, and followed up with us after the appointment to make sure that Moose was doing okay. We were very anxious because we had not established a primary vet yet, but that experience made the choice to use Animal Place clear.

Now at 63 years of age, I'm taking my pets to the BEST EVER Veterian Hospital around. Recently, my 8 year old Yorkie needed dental surgery and Dr. Andrew Gough was the vet who cleaned and extracted quite a few teeth. When I took her in I was very nervous but after speaking with Dr. Gough he told me exactly what to expect and to not worry. He said, if anything changed he would call me so, prior to surgery he called and explained further .. I was relieved and assured things would be fine. A few hours later I was called to come and pick her up and that she did fine. Let me just say "AMAZING" she was more than fine.. you would never have known she had surgery. I went home with meds and was really thinking she would in pain.. NOT... she was up running around and even ate a little food ( if I let her she would have eaten more).. I can't THANK Dr. Gough and the great team of folks who looked after my fur baby. I'm so pleased, never in the many, many, many years have I or my family been disappointed with the service, care and love. THANK YOU FAIRLAND... THANK YOU DR. GOUGH !!! THANK YOU DR. WHALL FOR HAVING SUCH A GREAT TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS ON BOARD.. WE LOVE YOU ALL...Sweetie, Spice baby, and Sugar :-)

My puppy, Mabel, stayed with Janet for ten days for training, and she came back a changed dog. During that time, she not only learned commands but developed the ability to settle which is a true feat for our anxious pup. Janet was incredibly patient while training Mabel during one of the hottest weeks of the summer and regularly sent us updates with pictures and videos of her progress. Walking Mabel is an absolute breeze thanks to all the leash training Janet did with her. When it was time for Mabel to return home, we were able to do some training with Janet to see everything Mabel learned which we’ve been able to replicate with success. As a testament to her care for the pups she trains, Janet has continued to check in on Mabel and her progress. Thank you so much, Janet, for everything!! I cannot recommend Janet enough if you need assistance with training or boarding your dog.

You gave us insight about the breeds and also about Ruthie's individual personality. You were spot on and we have used this insight over the years since training. We just go back from a cross-country driving trip with Ruthie from Maryland to California and back. I'm happy to say that Ruthie has a five-star rating as an Airbnb guest! Once in California, we used several strategies with Ruthie as we were in a new place. The best was letting her choose the direction to go for a walk. Your training sessions onsite and our individual walks with you in our neighborhood were essential to understanding Ruthie.

I loved receiving daily updates from doggy boarding and separate ones from kitty drop ins as those made our vacation only better. Marnie was a wonderful instructor who was so kind but also clear and firm in her guidance to us. Each week, it was a jam-packed class of fun exercises that are easy to repeat and practice at home. The classes helped my puppy learn how to be a good dog -- and helped me learn how to train her properly. While the dogs don't play together (it is school, after all!) it was adorable to see the personalities of the other puppies and so helpful to listen to the feedback the instructor gave each of us. I've already enrolled in Family Dog 1 to keep the training going!

Terron, which I took the time to remember his name from his wonderful friendly, JOYFUL customer service that greeted me as soon as I walked through the door! The atmosphere was quiet, quaint, extremely clean and TERRON was the Jack of all trades… as He made sure he greeted customers, while making sure everyone had their food hot and served with a friendly smile, AWESOME SERVICE. He even managed to give great conversation! As I learned, he enjoys working for the company and has great ideas! I will DEFINITELY be coming back because this employee made me feel so welcomed! With the extra bonus of the food being absolutely delicious and served fresh & hot! I cannot say enough, great things about the evening, staff here and the great service, friendly atmosphere and hot food that was delivered to each Customer's table! I liked that they had pineapple juice, I tried their spanapokita comes with a salad its not too loaded like most greek salads so that was unfortunate but not too bad.(see photo). Spanakopita wasn't over loaded with grease like most places that was impressive, I had one of their desserts don't remember the name but sounded like gallerkopbuerko. The dessert was real tasty. I'll be back to try other things like their specials fish options especially.
