“We had an absolutely outstanding experience visiting this landmark Apartments in College Park! Earlier that same day, my daughter and I had toured another apartment and were leaning toward it—but everything changed after we arrived here.

The apartments themselves are beautiful, spotless, and have such a great atmosphere. The location is incredibly convenient—close to everything, including restaurants and the university—which makes it even more appealing. On top of that, the community offers a wide range of amenities that really elevate the living experience.

Carol completely won us over. She gave an exceptional tour, spending plenty of time with us, really listening to what my daughter is looking for, and thoughtfully walking us through all the options. Her professionalism, polish, and genuine care stood out immediately—she made us feel informed, comfortable, and truly valued.

“I’ve been at The Dalton for about two years and thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The building is always clean, the staff is super nice, and any maintenance requests I’ve had were taken care of quickly.

My apartment was quiet, comfortable, and had plenty of natural light. I'm going to miss the rooftop views of DC and Alexandria. Overall, The Dalton has truly felt like home. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to live that balances easy access to the city and more relaxed day to day of Old Town.

Shout out to BJ, who always makes a genuine effort to really get to know all of the residents and keep us on our toes with his Trivia.”

“455 Eye is a great place to live! The building is beautiful, and all the staff are wonderful, from Ashli in the leasing office, to Z, Irvette, and Kim at the front desk. Ms. Kim was so kind when I was moving in and brought a bunch of my packages up to my unit, placing them right by my door for me.

Legesse with the maintenance crew is fantastic. I had multiple maintenance requests early on, and Legesse came by very quickly each time and fixed the issues.

Everyone I’ve encountered is friendly, and I’m very happy here.”

“We moved one of our adult children into 425 Mass in July ‘26 based on a video of the unit and a few phone calls & emails. I’m glad we did. The team here - maintenance & cleaners, front desk and leasing office are attentive, kind and watchful. All are real guest service stars. The building and unit look great. Only concern - the AI voice gatekeeper is the absolute worst implementation of AI that I’ve ever encountered. We almost leased elsewhere because of that. Once you get past it, the people on site make up for the ivory tower error.”

“I have been living at Alton District for almost two months now and this apartment building has by far been the best living experience I’ve had in the city. I’ve lived in neighborhoods all over D.C. over the course of 5 years and nothing compares to Alton District. The location and the modern units are fantastic, but what really makes Alton District stand out is the people that work here. Alex (the property manager) is incredibly responsive and helpful, and Cecelia at the front desk is an absolute gem - she knows every resident, is so kind, and is always thoughtful. I highly highly recommend living here!”

“I’m a resident at 909 for 5 years I Iove it at 909 capital yards an the maintenance staff is great especially Mr. Cleveland he came to the building and got things done you put in a maintenance ticket for service request and it’s done in an hour not the next day but the same day can we please keep Mr. Cleveland he really gets the job done. The building is starting to look beautiful.”

“First of all, the location is great.
I enjoyed jogging every morning to the White House, the Capitol, and the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials. There are many delicious restaurants and cafes nearby.
This is the best location for sightseeing in Washington.

It was a two-bedroom room, and one room had an independent bathroom and closet, so it was comfortable, and the other room had a wide bed and closet, so it was comfortable for four people to stay without being cramped.

The living room was surprisingly spacious and the kitchen was perfect for cooking.
(However, the knife was not very sharp.)

I stayed for a week and enjoyed Washington to the fullest.
I will definitely use it the next time I visit.”

I have had several maintenance issues, and Antwon has always been very responsive and helpful; He even stayed late one day to help me with an issue. “Leah gave us all the information we needed to feel prepared for our move-in, and made sure everything was communicated ahead of time, which made the whole process smooth. She was always willing to accommodate us and stayed easy to reach throughout. Leah and her team made sure we felt welcome from the start, taking care of several things without even being asked such as replacing the carpet with new flooring. She went the extra mile to make sure we felt comfortable coming to her with anything, and she resolves issues quickly. Her responsiveness to emails is genuinely impressive!”

“Berkshire15 has been such an amazing place to live, and I’d recommend it to anyone. The units are beautiful - great appliances, wonderful light, and spacious layouts. I have also enjoyed grilling and hanging out on the beautiful rooftop. But the best part of all might be the staff - Owen, Jeremy, Gerry, Jacob, Jasmine, Dontrell and the rest of the team have made it such a welcoming place to live. Overall, the building is a great community, impeccably maintained, and in an unmatched location. I will miss living here and wouldn’t leave if I weren’t moving cities - it’s truly the best!!”

“We had an excellent experience working with Andrew to visit, tour, and apply to Monroe Street Market! During our visit to the community, Andrew listened closely to what we were looking for and showed us several great apartments that fit our needs. After our tour, he stayed in contact by email as several other units that appealed to us went on the market, and expertly answered our questions about them. Andrew also guided us through the application process once we found an apartment we loved and kept us updated throughout. Because of a change in our circumstances, we didn't ultimately move into the community, but I have only positive things to say about working with Andrew and the beautiful apartments at Monroe Street Market. “I don’t often take the time to write reviews, but my experience at The Alloy deserves to be spoken about in full.

From the moment I lived here, it was clear that this is a well-maintained, thoughtfully designed building. The amenities alone set it apart. The pool is great during summer, clean, spacious, and genuinely enjoyable during the warmer months. The clubhouse is equally impressive, offering a comfortable and welcoming environment with features like a pool table and plenty of space to relax or unwind. When I was still in school, the building was especially valuable to me because of the multiple quiet and well-kept study areas. It made balancing life and work significantly easier.

However, what truly elevates The Alloy beyond just a “nice building” is the people.

I want to give special recognition to Ms. Tiffany, a leasing agent who went far beyond what was required of her. She assisted me in re-letting my apartment during a time when I truly needed help, despite the fact that she did not have to take on that responsibility. Her willingness to step in and support me quite literally saved me from months of financial strain. That kind of character, initiative, and genuine care is rare, and it made a lasting impact on me.

I would also like to acknowledge the leasing manager, who fosters a professional and well-run environment within the building. It’s clear that there is strong leadership behind the scenes that contributes to the smooth experience residents have.

All in all, The Alloy is more than just a place to live, it’s a place where you are supported, where the environment is conducive to both productivity and relaxation, and where the staff truly make a difference.

“I adore the staff at RAPY! I've been living here going on 3 years, and the care and customer service I've received has been exceptional. I lived in a 1-bedroom and transferred to a 2-bedroom; through all the changes, the support made it so wonderful. Location is super convenient and great accessibility to everything you need. Though the community is not labeled a luxury community, the staff treat you like it is. They are very responsive, friendly, and professional. Nathan, Alyscia, Wade, and Rajesh are top tier!!”

“We are about to move away for job relocations, but my friend and I have absolutely loved living here and would highly recommend it! The staff is incredibly nice and always responsive. The community is super convenient with Costco, Whole Foods, Alamo, the Metro, and DCA all nearby. The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning (it feels like living in Stardew Valley, even though you're right next to DC!). The only minor downside I can think of is that the utilities are a bit high, but otherwise, my experience at Water Park has been perfect.”

Kevin is always incredibly helpful and friendly, and goes out of his way to make sure the tenants’ maintenance needs are taken care of. I appreciate having him around. The concierge staff, especially Mimi and Damien, are also amazing - always friendly and helpful.

The bike room could definitely be better organized. It can be difficult to easily access your bike, which makes it harder to use regularly. I also really wish there were cameras in the room, as my back wheel was stolen last year.”

“I absolutely LOVE living here, this review is way overdue.

The location alone is incredible: about a 10-minute walk to the Metro, 5 minutes to the bus, one of the best parks in DC right outside your door, and great restaurants and bars all within walking distance. It honestly doesn’t get more convenient than this.

But what really makes this place special is the management team. Janice is amazing, she's so warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring (she's like a second mom). Jef is incredibly professional, efficient, and always on top of everything, and Jose is always quick to help and fix anything you need.

The apartments have beautiful views and tons of natural light, which makes such a difference.

I’ve lived here almost 2 years, and I recently moved into another unit just so I could stay in the building—that says it all. So happy to call this place home!”
